I'm dissapointed, this just looks like complete crap, and the picture sets in stone my worry's about Thor's hammer since the clip at the end of IM2, it looks like a freaking plastic toy

yea, I'm think I'm done with Marvel. First the IM2 rush job, then the recasting of Banner in The Avengers, to these HORRIBLE looking suits and the miscasting of Evans as Capt. America

I think once we see them with their helmets the costume will look more complete and comic book fans will be satisfied. Especially for Loki, it is probably the thing that defines his costume the most. I also like the way they used the gold on Loki's chest plate going up his neck to give it a little more sinister look, like someone else had posted earlier. I don't know what people were expecting green tights perhaps?

Odin has always had serious Gold in his armor, and I love that Odins gear seems to be split in his two sons

Odin has the red cape, just like his Thor and the circular aspects of the armor and Loki has taken the gold aspects and his is defined by the sick Emerald green of his cape\

I'm not a big fan of Odin's, but the other two look pretty good. Thor especially. Odin's bright, kind of campy armor overpowers the picture and takes away from the other two, which actually look nice. I'm sure they'll all look great in the actual film/trailers.

Those costume designs are fantastic! Though I would have loved to have seen BRIAN BLESSED in the Odin armour :P

Clearly you're not easy to please in this respect. The costumes look great to me and I'm a huge Thor fan. I also liked Iron Man 2, I don't really care that Norton's taken his huge ego and left the Marvel movie-verse, and I'm quite happy with Chris Evans as Cap. My only real issue with Marvel's upcoming movies at the moment is Cap's costume, which I don't like much.

..............I don't have any feel for this film at all. Is it supposed to be medievel scifi like Krull, MoTU, Stargate or something...? Flash Gordon maybe....?

The sneak peak at this film better knock me out of my seat the way TIH and IM did. My face damn near split in half from me grinning sow wide when I saw those trailers. A level of comfort and confidence in those films just swept over me and I knew they would be good....

There better be some serious **** in the trailer to make me enthusiastic for this film again.

....It's so dissappointing it's almost painful......Jesus Christ......those costumes.......

Thor was a no brainer, there was no way anyone could possibly get Thor wrong....magic, swords, armor, trolls, etc. a complete no brainer....he's probably one of--if not the easiest character to do a movie for, there's really nothing to think about....

Considering how the **** looks in the books, what else did you expect? The artists have a hard enough time making the Asgardians look believable, so this works out.
