As the fourth season of The Batman (Saturdays at 10:30 am/ET, on the CW) winds down, the Caped Crusader is starting to make some superfriends. In the two-part season finale, which begins this Saturday and concludes on May 5, Batman joins forces with Martian Manhunter to stop an alien invasion in Gotham City. And that's just the beginning: When the show returns this fall for Season 5, a parade of superheroes will guest-star. "Martian Manhunter is starting the Justice League," executive producer Alan Burnett says, "and he would like nothing better than to have Batman on the team." Also on the guest list: the Flash, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Hawkman and Superman. And though the Dark Knight Detective and the Man of Steel are the ultimate good guys, don't expect them to be instant friends. "Their first meeting is a little contentious," Burnett teases. "These are two guys sizing each other up." We can hear it now: "My cape is bigger than your cape." — Rich Sands

I like it but I was hoping he would look a little different. Meaning either like the one drawing we saw by one of the artists from The Batman or just different. Not like S:TAS. Personally and I don't know why I was just hoping he look like Ultimate Superman (from Wizard). Well heres to hoping we have a \S/ on the back of the cape.

He looks like the JLU version sort of, maybe since no one really knows who he is (outside of comics) other than the JLU. And I like the JLU and his character design, so its not that I don't like the design at all. I also like the long shorts manhunter has on.

Too bad they didn't use this version. Its cool, him looking human except his green skin, and its fresh and different than what has been used.

Also, why is "The Batman" already getting so many guest spots? Flash, Martian Manhunter, Superman?

it's will be in its fifth season when this occurs

spidey was getting far more guest spots when it was in its fifth season...

the first season of the hulk, second season of iron man and also fantastic four had loads of guest spots as well.

I think some peeps keep thinking the batman is a new cartoon...

Wait, really? They aren't getting Carl Lumbly?

If so, I'm not complaining (even though Lumbly did a great job in LJU). Phil Morris' Martian Manhunter is criminally under-used in Smallville, and it would be great to hear him play J'onn in actual Martian form.
