I agree the "chainmail" is too futuristic, rubbery looking.

I would have preferred a more authentic take on the chainmail.

It doesnt look bad, though sorry, Chris arms look a bit puny for the God of Thunder.

Amazing pic, it looks better than i thought it would. I agree it does look a bit rubbery but I'm cool with that, just need to see a pic of Cap now and i'll be more than happy.

Puny? LOL .... you won't be saying that when you see him from other angles.

As for the futuristic look, remember that they did say in order to make the story more appetizing that these guys were considered more "Alien" than Gods. The suit will get touched up in post-production. Trust me, it'll gleam.

Yeah, I'm sure the director of this multi-million dollar project, and all of the post-production/effects people will miss that detail and leave the look of the arms like that.

I'm fully expecting them to alter it. Doesn't mean it will look good. The God's sparkle armor in Clash looked ridiculous.

I'll wait and see the suit in motion.

I'm probably a 50/50 DC/Marvel guy so I look forward to these things in equal measure.

Next year is going to be absolutely amazing.

I'm more a Marvel guy, but Batman, Superman and Green Lantern are all in my top 7 fav heroes.

They don't need to make the entire thing CGI to apply those lighting effects to it. He's talking about just making the padding on the arms, which looks a bit rubbery in that unembellished pic, look more like metal with some lighting effects in post-production.
