I am honestly shocked at some of the comments worrying about the armor before we've even seen a post-production copy yet, let's also keep in mind "angles" people..... And this mess about touching up the guy's muscles..... This isn't Tobey McGuire we're talking about here. This is Chris Hemsworth, all 6'3 220+ pounds of him who's been working out hardcore for the last 8 months with the best trainers money can buy. Even if there is the slightest bit of shading, it's mentioned like it's trying to hide him from looking puny or something.

Look. No matter how big you are, once you get into a form fitting suit, all your muscles are gone. In fact the bigger you are the more you just look fat. There was a lot of uproar when it came out Routh in Superman Returns was wearing a muscle suit, because the fans didn't understand that it was necessary, no matter how big Brandon Routh was.

So whether or not the chain-mail is a fabric or molded rubber, there is some movie magic taking place. That's all I'm saying. It doesn't matter how big Hemsworth is. And personally I think he is big enough.

What a wonderful image to have waiting for me when I come from from seeing Iron Man 2! I was preparing myself for some compromise, but oh man... this is PERFECT! It's practically a direct rip from the Coipel design (and as a Thor neophyte myself, that's my fave design for the character), and it looks better than I could ever have hoped for. I'm SOOOOO excited for this movie!

Can't wait to see Loki now. I hope his costume is as close to the Coipel design as Thor's is.

You're a hard one to please haha. What part of them talking about releasing "set pics" did you miss? The post-production photos come much much further down the pipe.

At least you're getting the gist of the look ....

Lol, I personally believe the only people who should be complaining about the muscle structure are those who work out daily with plates benching,squating,cleaning, and all that good stuff.

Being a high school football player going into his senior year working out every day since July 9th 2007...he is big enough and looks amazing for the part!

Also, saw this in the library and I couldn't keep a huge smile off my face the rest of the school day. People were giving me looks like,"...why is he smiling? We are in school."

in the movie they didnt change the material and texture on the suit. tehy only added parts.

a car finished paint material looks like plastic. and this is how IM looks.

why the f... are you showing this picture ? you think they will do something similar for Thor? because they wont.

Will it bother you if they do? or does it bother you that he's saying that? and how do you know that they "wont"? He's just trying to make a point that there's a chance that this may not be the way we'll see the suit in the film, there may be a few changes here and there
