First Smallville ep you watched and where were you?

the pilot on channel 4. Thought it was rubbish and it was soon taken from prime time to the teen viewing on sunday afternoons. Didn't start rewatching again until it got good in season 5

I was at home and I watched the pilot. Thought it was really well done and I liked season 1 alot but only REALLY fell in love with it after season 2.

You know, I had heard about the show but I hadn't wanted to watch it at all. I was a huge superman fan when I was a kid and I thought the show would cheapen the myth... I didn't want to see Dawson's Smallville.

Seriously.

I know that sounds like an arrogant fanboyish reaction, but that's how I had felt and then my sister (who barely likes the show now, she loathes Lana and doesn't like Chloe much) said, "It's about Superman, so you'll like it. Give it a try, it's better than you think it could be."

She was right, so I have the eldest of the trips to thank for the youngest trip getting so much into the show.

She is amazed when we talk about it that I didn't want to watch the show at first given how "into it" I am now...

:D

i was kind of the same excpet i wasnt a superman fan. i saw bits of it but, saw my first full episode with one i mentioned. then, i became a superman fan.

The Pilot/Series Premiere...

If I remember correctly, it was a Friday night and I was just flipping channels downstairs in the living room. I clicked on WB right at the shot of a giant meteor crashing through the SV water tower.

I kept watching and when they got to the part of Jonathan and Martha upside down as young Clark approaches, I said to myself, "Is this Superman?!"

Mind you, I had never heard ANYTHING regarding SV beforehand, I really did just stumble upon it that night so naturally once I realized that it was an actual SUPERMAN show...I became hooked.

Wow...I was 14 when this show started (I'm 22, now).

Damn. :wow:

I saw the Pilot when it first aired and probably watched half of the first two seasons off and on. I was unable to watch any of the other seasons after that because of my hectic college schedule until five episodes into season 5. Once I got DVR I was able to catch up on past seasons of Smallville that aired on ABC Family and on DVD. I have now been watching every episode of Smallville religiously since the end of 2005. It's by far my favorite show.

How does a person post that doesn't apparently have a user name?

I saw the pilot in my parent's bedroom. I wasn't supposed to watch tv since I had to study for the SATs (The show aired on a Tuesday and my SAT test was Saturday). I sneaked in and watched it. I don't regret it.

Whatever that person did, it must have been pretty baaaaad. The user wasn't just banned; he was DELETED. LOL!!!

I don't see that too much 'round these parts. ;)

Oh, he think he posted that before he was deleted...

Weird, why don't they delete his posts too?

ETA: Looks like he's back under a new alias.

Yeah. I've seen that before.

That would be nice, but I think they have to delete 'em individually. Next time Cmill's in town, maybe he'll do the honors.

Whoops! Maybe we should get him here sooner rather than later?

Pilot episode in the series premiere. I was in my room, ironing clothes for school the next day. Senior year too, 2001. The show had been advertised for weeks, and since I always check out mostly anything comic book related, figure I'd give it a shot. Loved it.

The pilot episode, at home. Bought seasons 1-3 at Costco and watched them almost non-stop over a weekend.

I'm pretty sure the first one I saw was the pilot, but I don't think I saw it the day it premiered.

the first I saw was the one that Lex went crazy. he is sent to a asylum and we can hear the music of Jonny Cash (hurt).
I was at my friends house. because of this episode..I started to like Smallville.
