Well, this is a seminal moment in history: a well-received Fantastic Four film (besides The Incredibles). I'm not even big on the characters in any medium, but nice to see one that, hopefully, people actually like.

Big thing I’m reading is the accessibility is a big plus. As a standalone.

I like Thunderbolts, but it for sure scared off people coming into it fresh without MCU knowledge which hurt it at the box office.

Awesome start critically. Let's hope the box office follows.

I'm also just thrilled we finally have a well recieved F4 movie. I don't follow F4 much in the comics but in crossovers I've tended to pay attention to them like in the Onslaught saga when Franklin got involved and Hickman's Secret Wars. So I always wanted to see a quality F4 film.

86% is still A-okay!

Good news for the FF and Marvel.
Another W for the MCU that badly needs to get back on track right before the big Avengers events.

On another note I hate that RT got rid of the Average Rating because now you gotta go through a ton of reviews to get somewhat of a consensus of how good the film really is. That rating just tells me that 8.5/9 out of 10 people gave it a thump up, how good was that thumbs up? Ok/Meh, decent, good, very good…

For example, is FF a 6,7 or 8 out of 10? That high of a RT rating will mean less and less because you never really know what you going to get.

Over 100 reviews and close to 90% still thats a massive W for Marvel.

DC and Marvel fans both with Certified Fresh films to enjoy, everyone wins.

The perfect outcome.
At least Team Sexy Aliens beat Dinosaurs critically. 😭

I’m enjoying reading some of the negative reviews.

Because some of the things they’re saying they wanted and didn’t get are things I never wanted - like a long, noisy, overdone, confusing, heavy CGI “action sequence” at the end.

I think the weirdest negative review said that they were disappointed that the superhero movie was in fact, a superhero movie. Just....dumb
