First ten minutes of new Forever cut online

Im sorry your thread got suit hijacked.

But there was actually a Sonar suit in black in plans, A friend of mine visited the batshop in pre-production.
He saw one of the stunt guys trying on a BLACK sonar suit. And he said it looked amazing. To bad they didnt go for it:cmad:

The suit does appear to be black in certain shots.

I've just finished the closing sequence with the, 'Does it ever end?' exchange between Chase and Alfred. I've decided not to use the extended dialogue between Two-Face and Batman on the helicopter because a) the voice of Batman is nothing like Val Kilmer, and b) the dialogue doesn't really add much and slows down the scene.

I love that track, but I'm intending to use it in Bruce's flashbacks later on. Also, it doesn't really fit the Arkham scenes as it is sad and sombre, I want something more dramatic for Two-Face's escape, and Up the Cathedral fits in perfectly with the moment Burton sees Two-Face and when he's yanked intothe air.

I guess.

I'm going to use this artwork for the cover.

Really? that's good artwork, but it looks like such a generic collage kind of poster : /

wouldn't something dark and simple be better?

I love it, it reminds me of the classic Star Wars painted collage posters. However, if you can think of anything better, please do.

I want more riddler, actually with riddle's etc! And some more psychotic two face, make it like the burton films with a better approach to villains :)

I just hate how Batman and Robin are just kind of standing around looking off into the distance.

Some great work, Kevin... if you need some help (not with cutting itself but with ideas, etc., just lemme know).

I tried to do something similar too, but I kinda lost "my" cutter...

Absolutely, any ideas you have, post 'em!

It does, actually (aside from the rather unnecessary cod-piece), but the Batman suit is shockingly awful.

Kevin, how do you plan on tackling the "Giant Bat" scene? If at all...

I've always felt that it was the most pivotal moment in the film (even though it wasn't even in the film.) When Val opens his arms and embraces the Bat, the apparent symbolism is ever so obvious. In my mind, I always imagined Danny Elfman's Finale being played as the bat flew towards Val. What are your thoughts on the overall tone of the scene.

I always felt that it should cut from Bruce embracing the Giant Bat to him putting on the Sonar Suit. The two exchanges between Alfred and Bruce seemed somewhat akward, so even though it might cause logisitc problems (cutting out the scene where Alfred explains there was another part of the batcave intact) I think the pacing would greatly benefit.

When your done with this, I don't think I'll want a DC cause a fan is doing what the fans want! and it has all the deleted stuff! Were did you find the Deleted scenes anyway?

Dude, that's very close to my take.

With the bat approaching Bruce, I wanted it to be like Bruce expriencing the fear that others feel when they are approached by Batman. Like Eddie and Nick in the first movie when Batman appears on the rooftop. So I'm using the track 'Roof Fight', which seagues into the Batman theme as Bruce raises his arms to the bat and the camera spins around them.

I like the idea, but we need the explanation of what the suit is or the audience will ask why Batman suddenly looks different. And the element of it being untested adds to the excitement.

I don't think I'll ever understand Val Kilmer's satisfied, matter-of-fact delivery of, "I'm Batman, Alfred. I'm Batman." But it's an important part so I'm retaining it.

The 2005 DVD, the U2 music video and various trailers.

Yeah, that "I'm Batman, Alfred, I'm Batman" line is kinda strange...

I think you should use some color filters for the deleted batcave scenes, which don't have the blueish color the others have...

If you have read the script you know that Bruce Wayne often sees "scenes" from his parents' murder, for example while he's falling from the helicopter into the water. You should cut very short flashbacks into it, just like in the script...

The flashbacks I'm doing, hadn't thought of that moment though.....I don't think it fits in with the momentum of the scene. Now I imagine it, it may give it an unusual energy though. I will try it.
