Ah no, it'd be great, with Michael Keaton as an older Joker, and Kim Basinger as Selina kyle running an escort agency.

That was the point of my thread, is their any validity to the older Bruce Wayne rumor.

No way in hell do I see Kilmer playing it if true.

It would have to be:

James Brolin

Now Christian Bale

Quite the spitting image.

If they were to show an older Bruce Wayne,It would have to be Bale that plays him.
It makes no sense for someone else to do it.

:woot:

Brolin would pull it off with ease. He does resemble Bale. And what better special effects can you have than an old guy that can act and looks like young bruce. Bale in make-up may come off a bit cheesy.

Yeah it only works on Lost. And even then it was confusing as hell.

i could actually see brolin as an older bale but if they decided to show an older bruce wayne, bale himself would be playing him.

Yeah, but the question is... why would nolan do a flashforward of an older Bruce in the first place? It doesn't seem to fit the story.

^ It could show Bats and Joker fighting decades down the line. Maybe they're imagining it, maybe it's real and it references something that happens in TDK.

Unlikely I know but it's strange strange to say it doesn't fit the story before you've seen the whole thing.

That may work in the cartoon, but not in a live action movie and given what we know, or think that we know, I still don't see how that would work in TDK. There is no reason for it.

Just so he can meet Selina and shout ' We have to go back to Gotham, Selina! We have to go back!'

Yeah it could, just show images over Bruces' narration, "I'm going to be doing this all my life, Alfred. Aren't I?" something that like that.

If there is any type of flash forward sequence Bale would best suited to play old Bruce. They've got makeup artists out there than can make him look like karr-el22's manip and i think he's got the chops to act that way.

If not Bale then some other well known actor that resembles him not (with all due respect) Val Kilmer. They've gone through all this trouble to show that this series has nothing to do with the Burton/Schumacher movies so it makes no sense to go and use one of of the former Bruces for this.

maybe they should've hired Brolin to play Dr Thomas Wayne instead.
