"Flight of the Conchords" on HBO

Anyone catch the series premier last night? If not, you missed out. It was balls-out hilarious. Think Tenacious D without the pot references and a little less metal. Highly recommended!

really really funny stuff. i mean, the commercials caught my interest, but they really dont do the show justice, you really need to catch it yourself. some great songs on there too. youtube flight of the conchords "most beautiful girl in the room". if i knew how to make yt work on here i would post it myself, alas

They also did a live audience show called "One Night Only". It was about 5 songs, and probably some of the funniest @#$% I've seen in a long, long time.

I love this show with all my heart. If I had known there was a thread about them earlier... Well this would have been an earlier post.
I haven't seen the newest one yet.. But I am loving the show thus far.

We'll get episode 8 on Sunday and there are 12 episodes all together in the series.

I love the series. I didn't watch the first two episodes because I thought it would be a cheap Tenacious D rip-off, but good God was I wrong. Flight of the Conchords are great.

Last episode was great. "Mother*uckers" is a fun song.

It's my favorite series of the summer! I'm always on Youtube watching their song videos. They stay funny over and over.

Yep, only two episodes left now. Kind of sucks, but at least it's already been confirmed for a second season next summer. I look forward to whatever new music the guys come up with; thus far they've mostly recycled old material with higher production values.

They have been good. My one complaint--and it's relatively minor at this point--is that there are too many episodes about Bret or Jemaine or both trying to get with women. A few more with just random, weird plots like the racism episode would be nice.

I caught Sunday's repeat last night. Brilliantly funny! Another laugh-the-whole-way-through ep for me: The acid trip, the peer pressure from the manager to drink, the threesome, etc.. LMAO!! t:
