Flint Marko's family??

And that makes that change a little more acceptable, for me. I'd hate if he did it deliberately, or even worse, gloated about it.

But with the changes now, doesn't that mean that the guy who stole the money in Spider-Man 1 didn't deserve to die? :csad: That's messed up.

Did Peter actually kill that guy?

The guy more or less "committed suicide" because he was scared. He stepped back too far and he fell.

They actually bring that guy up in the film and that whole conflict...

This is gay. I thought that Dr. Octopus was going to be a bad guy, but he wasn't at all. They are trying to make this guy like Dr. Octopus, and next Venom will be good guy. This is rediculous.

Peter definitely didn't kill that guy. Yea, he offed himself but not intentionally. I'm curious to see how this is all handled. It's funny though b/c Parker is yelling at him b/c of the death of Uncle Ben when he wasn't even the one that pulled the trigger! I don't like how this change impacts that scene from the first film now. When you think about it, he didn't deserve to die, even if it was accidental.

Well no neccesarly, in the novelization Flint says something to the affect that if the burgaler never met him in front of the libary, he probably would have never tried to steal Uncle Ben's car.

True, but the way it sounds like now, the dude who took off with the money in the first film didn't deserve to die because he wasn't the one that actually did the shooting. Unless, he yells at Marko to shoot Ben or perhaps Marko is hesitating due to Ben pleading with them and then the dude reaches for the gun to do the job himself and the gun goes off like that. If it's not like one of the two above then that dude definitely didn't deserve what happened to him in the first film, accidental or not.

there is a picture of him and his daughter in the movie storybook.

but just think, the Burglar was an accomplice of Marko so he somewhat deserved to die if not go to prison because he was the one who was teraming up with the guy that actually shot him. but do you think that either way the Burglar would have died? I mean the cop's chased him to the warehouse, spidey came and slammed him against the wal. so after spidey break's his arm he backs up and trip's and fall's out the window onto the ground. not to mention that Flint Marko didn't intentionally kill Uncle Ben. quite frankly The Burglar deserve's just as much jail time as Marko doe's or actually they both probably have life in prison due to the fact the the Burglar was very much involved with the crime and tried to out run the cop's. this happen's in real life as well, if someone didn't actually kill that person but was teaming up with the guy then that acuualy did then they are just as guilty as the guy who did kill that person.

Well, Peter didn't kill him. It was an accident. The guy tripped. It's not like he was pushed. And secondly, he was about to shoot Peter in the head.

Not saying he deserved to die. But, it's not like he was murdered or anything.
