IMO it's the most overtly sexual thing in the MCU (in terms of the movies, the shows are another thing altogether) and that's counting that brief hookup scene in IM1.

In the comics Valkyrie's real name is Bruunhilde. She's never called that at any point in Ragnarok (she is only referred to as 'Scrapper 142', her title on Sakaar), but both merchandising and Tessa Thompson have hinted that Bruunhilde is indeed her real name in the MCU too.

But is Valkyrie immortal? Are her methods supernatural?

Valkyrie is an Asgardian, so she isn't immortal, just extremely long-lived like all the other Asgardians. Considering she was around when Hela was, she must be significantly older than Thor and Loki though. It's been theorised that she still looks a similar age to them because of the weird effects of time on Sakaar.

Her chemistry with Hulk and Thor were a highlight for me. There was some great banter between the three of 'em. I thought the drunk, tough girl with deadpan humor gimmick will start wearing thin after some time but she won me over by the end of the movie. Great casting.

IW for sure. Her character was built pretty well in TR and by the end she was an integral part of Thor's "team". They are all facing Thanos and his crew early on in IW so we'll see more of her for sure.

And Tessa was actually seen in Edinburgh while they where filming IW.

I think Valkyrie will be with Thor and everyone else in the spacehip right when they face Thanos... but then as we see in the trailer i expect Thor to end up with the Guardians while Valkyrie probably escapes to Earth with some of the other heroes in the Commodore.

Finally saw the movie (yeah I know I'm late) and she was awesome. It makes me wonder though what James Gunn's problem is. Valkyrie kicked more ass in one movie than Gamora and Nebula combined in two GOTG movies. Even Widow gets more ass kicking done.

Does Tessa age though? At all? I remember seeing her forever ago in some weird movie (also had Summer Glau before she was famous I think) and she looks exactly the same. Guess Danai was right, 'black don't crack'.
