i dont understand this retroman.in the clip we saw whiplash going after tony without the suit.without the suit a lot of people are a threat to Tony StarkFootage was great!![]()
From the bits that they've shown of Whiplash it appears that he will pose a bigger threat to Tony than i initially thought. And War Machine was really awesome to see in action. Looks like they really raised the stakes for Stark in this one.t:
^Possibly, or Shield showing up to help him, I do hope Vanko gets an upgrade as he will need one to fight Iron Man.
^Personally, Whiplash is the only aspect of IM2 that i'm still not convinced about, sure he is a threat to Tony Stark without armour, but I just dont see what threat he would pose to Iron Man, a strong repulsor blast from distance and the fight is over.

Haha yeah, it's like I wanna' be Tony Stark so bad.
Pretty much. Just the way he handles himself and how he talks over people, its so clever and fun to watch. RDJ is the best thing these films have going for them. Sure you can add all this star power with Mickey, Scarlett, Don, and Sam but Robert Downey is still the soul of these films.
Yeah, I think the best comparison I've read is that Robert Downey Jr in Iron Man is like Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean, where it's a performance that just drives the film and makes it more than the sum of its parts.
Yeah, I don't think it's fair to just dismiss a villain because he doesn't appear to be a physical match for the hero. I know people hate TDK mentions on the Iron Man boards, but The Joker was in no way a physical match for Batman, yet managed to totally put him through the ringer. There's plenty of ways to make a villain compelling.
