Lizard and Kraven would be great villains for Spider-Man 4.

The reason I thought they were stopping at three is that...

they have FOUR villains

they have a LOVE TRIANGLE

they have TWO spiderman suits

they are introducing Capt. Stacy, Eddi Brock, and Gwen Stacy.

If they were going to six or whatever they wouldn't be cramming all this tish into one movie.

Sandman WILL be in the third, obviously, but he will be a MAIN villain. I don't think GG2 will be in this movie even though it was the cliffhanger in the second. Sam and Avi might be fooling us. Maybe there aren't 4 villians. And even if there are four, there will only be 2(max) MAIN villains. The other two might not even have a fight scene. Remember in Batman Begins when they showed Mr. ZsasZ for a second at his trial and him escaping from jail? And then Remember Scarecrow, and the Joker Card? Technically that can be considered THREE villains, already. So I don't except a fight scene from every single villain. If they show Eddie Brock at the end, holding the symbiote but not the actual Venom, then that can be considered as a villain since we know Eddie is Venom.

I'm pretty sure that Green Goblin II will be a villain.

Remember the footage they showed of James Franco Leaving the set of SP3 and saying goodbye to Kirsten Dunst? He is already finished doing all of his parts. And that video was out almost a month ago. I dought that he would have done all of his green Goblin scenes that quick. The only way GG2 could still be in the movie is if he was someone else. Which is definantly not happening.

I respect Spider-man as shuperhero and even icon, but villians like Manwolf, Hobgoblin (there have already been 1 and now 2nd) and Vulture will not work on-screen, besides Kingpin as I know have already appeared in DD movie.

And they all cant be compared with Venom and GG2. People will have no interest by 5th movie.

As I could see that, if there were 3 movies, then:
Spidey 1 - Green Goblin
Spidey 2 - Doc Ock
Spidey 3 - GG2 and Venom (maybe Sandman for 2 as maximum scenes).

If there were 6 movies, then:
Spidey 1 - GG
Spidey 2 - Doc Ock
Spidey 3 - GG2 and Sandman (also there will appear Eddie Brock, but not Venom)
Spidey 4 - Black suit, Venom, Shocker
Spidey 5 - Lizard, Electro, Mysterio
Spidey 6 - Venom, Carnage, Chameleon

Thats all.

That is your soul opinion on the matter. For you to say people will have no interest in up to 5 is ludicrous. We don't even know how SM3 will turn out. Lets wait for another year and then form an opinion.

GG2 will appear (read teaser description), but as I think, only at the end and as villian for final battle, where there will be dramatic moments.

I think Venom is the main villian, because the biggest part of movie is going to be about black suit and Venom.

Sandman will be villian like Doc Ock, but more for action sequences. So he is a villian for fighting.

I dont know ho this 4th villian is, but I think we will see Shocker. The only question is who is gonna play this character?

Kraven and Lizard would be perfect for 5. Because Venom and Carnage will definitely be the 4 villains.

But think about it Kraven comes from after a safari hunt learning that there is 1. A "spider-man" prowling the New York city streets but also 2. A giant lizard prowling the sewers. Peter wants to try a cure for Doc Connors, but Kraven is determined to kill The Lizard and make him a trophy head on his wall.

Then, a big battle ensues and the rest writes itself. If you couldn't make that into a movie, it'd be a great cartoon episode.

Mysterio would be a great sidevillian for 4 and provide some great visual effects. Electro, Lizard, Kraven, and Carnage are good major villians with Shocker, Scorpion, Chameleon, Vulture, etc...as good side villians. It is all in how the writer's do their scripts and how Sony and Raimi want it. Venom IMO is top 3 of Spider-Man's greatest foes...yet he is rumored to only be in only one battle at the end of SM3. So Venom as a supervillian will most likely return in 4. And I personally don't think Sandman is a "super villian".

ABC, in the first post on this thread you stated that this WILL be the last Spider-Man film as if that's FACT. Above you clearly state that you THINK this will be the last. Please don't try to post your own fanboy opinions as fact. It has already been stated by more than 1 person close to the franchise (including Laura Ziskin, Producer, who probably knows a thing or 2 about where the series will head) that Sony has optioned it for 6. Now, Raimi and Tobey may not be doing S-M films until 2015, but they will be made. Bet on that.

Who are you defending??? I have never called any one a n00b on here but a poster above was being blatantly hatefull and thinks he owns the place and has only been posting here for less than a month. And SM3 and SM4 are not being filmed together. I too agree and hope SM3 is quiet long to tackle all the issues. I guess it will be around the two hour mark...give or take a few minutes.
