Forever Evil

Seems like our focus should still have been on Batmans group, or maybe showing someone trying to escape the Firestorm prison thing. It was interesting just didn't seem to fit into the story as neatly as I think it should've.

That's what Forever Evil and JLA are doing though. That's the way it's been the whole series. The last, what, 5 issues of Justice League have had at least one origin story in them along with Cyborg's attempts to stop the Syndicate. Forever Evil is Lex/Batman. JLA is Martian Manhunter and Stargirl in the Firestorm Matrix. Justice League is Cyborg and further development of the Syndicate.

I wish they had chosen different characters to do the saving that werent Cyborg and Batman. Change it up some

How is having Cyborg as the lead NOT changing it up? Even in the beginning he didn't have this huge role.

Because I feel like you can see it coming from a 100 miles away. DC has been pushing the character to the forefront since the beginning of the series. But I know he is the only one without an individual title, but still don't him shoved down my throat.

I don't feel like he's been shoved down our throat at all. Yes, he's been in the Justice League, but he honestly hasn't had many storylines, save for Throne of Atlantis where he had to have major surgery to save the others.

This arc with the Metal Men really has been his moment to shine. And if it lands him his own series? So be it.

It is probably a mixture of comics and dtvs that make me feel that way.

I hated his inclusion at first but comic Vic has gotten better and better under johns pen, he wrote the guy well in Teen Titans, us he makes perfect sense to be with the Metal Men.

Cyborg 2.0 is nothing short of epic and I'm glad he's fighting back. Those JL issues have been utterly brilliant.

I enjoyed it but man, the whole damn book was about those goofy ass metal men. Wish we coulda found out who got Power Ring's ring or something at least. It was all focused on the metal men. I liked it for what it was but it kinda felt like it took a ton of steam outta the story

Actually, I think we learn that a couple months after FE in Justice League.

The next Power Ring is the first villain the Justice League fights after Forever Evil. When the team is Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, Shazam, Lex Luthor, and Captain Cold.

The Metal Men are not goofy nor ass. Take it Back! :o

I didn't mind. I ****ing love The Metal Men. The more we see of them the merrier matter of fact I'd love a new ongoing.

Metal men werent that bad. I liked theiR perssonalities. You know whats comin.

Cyborg + Metal men power rangers style!!!

I dunno, I'm not saying I don't like them but their banter was exceedingly goofy and lighthearted. Maybe that is a more apt description than "goofy ass" lol

which is why I liked it. This is how you do the metal men.

Oh brother :whatever:

And? I said liked it. I can like something and feel that it takes steam out of the story simultaneously.

Was this in recent solicits? Cuz now I'm excited!

I'm actually not wanting to read that version of the JL because to me it kinda smells like when Osborn had his Iron Patriot suit and his Avengers. I know this will be different but I just don't care for the idea.
