Wasn't there male nudity in Dewey Cox? And of course there's some in FSM. Maybe there are a lotta guys out there who aren't comfortable enough to see a penis on the big screen.
Its only within the first 5 mins of the film and its only a brief few seconds.

Is everyone really that much of a homophobe?

I bought Walk Hard DVD&CD without seeing it and plan to see FSM this Thursday, but that's something these movies share in common. Maybe audiences like hearing "Dick jokes" but not actually seeing it.

Still it was smart to move it to April instead of leaving it for late May and going against the Sex and the City movie and the May blockbusters. But maybe smarter if it was held for another year and had a better release date.

They could have released it in march or early april.

if it was full frontal female nudity no one would be crying. FSM has to be honestly the funniest movie of the yearso far.

I hate sex and the city and what it stands for. and its gonna make me sick if its a huge hit.

As for comedies its been pretty weak but can't wait to see it.

SatC is the Indiana Jones for females. While males fantasize of travelling the world for lost treasures, getting the girl and killing Nazis there are plenty of females who wish they could stay thin, shop in NYC, and have plenty of men to do no matter how horse-ugly they are.
Its going to have a good opening weekend and we can sit back and get ready for the Grey's Anatomy Movie. But maybe it opens the door for HBO to do a Curb Your Enthusiasm movie.

I just came back from watching it, I enjoyed it alot however I wouldnt put it up there with Superbad and Knocked up. Oh and I need to find a copy of that Dracula song that Peter sings, I thought that was histerical.

hmm I might need to see it again , for me to rank it above Superbad.
oh and is it me but does Bill Heder (spelling?) sound exactly like Jim Ga***in (spelling?)

I watched this last night and thought it was pretty funny. I really enjoyed it especially since this is the first movie I've seen in months. I think the last one was I Am Legend.

I thought everyone Segel, Bell, Kunis, and Brand did really a great job. I laughed really hard at some parts. Of course, sometimes I thought that some of the jokes were a little over the head of the people I saw it with, or maybe I was just the only one laughing. "Sodomize Intolerence"

You know I think personally I'd rank this a little higher than Superbad and only because I related to more of the material in Sarah Marshall or even Knocked Up.

But overall, this was a great movie, and I'm a little surprised this didn't make #1, however, I did want to see The Forgotten Kingdom but the girl wasn't up for an action movie. However, we didn't go away disappointed.

Edit: A little side note, Brand's character was originally suppose to be a "Hugh Grantesque" character as stated by Segel and Brand while they were on Opie and Anthony Radio Show and Brand walked into the reading I think not even reading the script and asking what this movie was about. Good change.

I'm definitely going to see this movie soon maybe next month.

it should be out, I mean if it does well. I saw Jason Segal interviewed on Ellen and he was talking about his two worst breakups. One of them was when he was naked (like in the movie) and the one worse than that was when he broke into song so he can have his girlfriend back. lol She still rejected him.

Even if it does well its gonna be pushed out within a fe weeks. you got baby mama, Harold and Kumar 2 Iron man in the next few weeks.

I don't think Baby Mama will do that well. I think Harold and Kumar 2 will do better and maybe Forbidden Kingdom will be #1 again next week. But come May 2, Iron Man will blow all the competition away!

no i have a feeling BM will be number 1 just like i knew FK was gonna be 1.

Baby Mama looks like it's a good dvd movie but I wouldn't pay $9 to see it at the theater. Then again, I'm sure there are a lot of people who have money to spend. lol

I plan on seeing Harold and Kumar this weekend, because I know once May hits, if I don't see it by the end of this month, I won't be seeing it at all. :o

I would like to see HAK2 also. But there are too many good movies coming out in May also.

After Iron Man, it's Narnia, Indiana Jones, The Incredible Hulk, Wall-E, Wanted, The Dark Knight, and finally The Mummy.

Everything else, I don't really have to see. I can wait till DVD or even cable.

I can tell you now though, Pineapple Express will probably be the last movie I'll see this summer.
