yeah actually impressed by the team-up issue, spectre. shame peter looks like a dork outa the costume in it. ppl seem to forget since the spider-bite he scored with a super model - so why the **** is he so damn ugly there?? oh well, like it really matters. his powers seem to be written well.


as for FNSM im a big fan of the current stories but... mysterio? i havnt read anything in a while from him. here's hopin he actually entertains me this time round. anyone know who's under the fish bowl this time?

Well Quention Beck supposedly commited suicide at the end of 'Guardian Devil' so unless that has been retconned it won't be him. It could be someone completely new or, I'm not sure about this but, it could be Francis Klum. He was one of the main protagonists in 'Spiderman/Black Cat: The Evil That Men Do'. He was a low level teleporter dabbling in the drug trade, he fell from 'the bridge' (as in the Gwen Stacy bridge) fighting Spidey, was severely injured and he was seen at the end buying Quentin's Mysterio costume and gadgets from the Kingpin before swearing revenge on Spidey.

Technically there are two Mysterios right now: Francis Klum and Daniel Berkhard. Berkhard has been Mysterio since the end of The Mysterio Manifesto a few years ago. He seems to have been forgotten though, so its probably Klum.

I really hope that Quentin Beck is still dead. A new guy under the fishbowl coud mean different stories. Besides, the guy watching Mysterio might be the real Mysterio watching a robotic decoy.

It's Francis. He's standing in front of the crates where he got the suit from at the end of Evil That Men Do. It probably picks up right from the end of that book.

FNSM looks good and I'm looking forward to Mysterio. Team up looks ok too, but I hate how lately everyone has drawn wolverine with the short stubby ear things, they look so much better when they're long.

YES! Marvel Team Up has a different artist!!! So, the title won't die looking like crap, thank goodness.

And Nauck is awesome on FNSM. Did Mysterio Rambo style, gotta respect that. I hope that it's Francis Klum, because that was actually a very cool touch that Kevin Smith did. Too bad that he didn't do that, you know, years earlier when the Spidey/Black Cat mini was supposed to finish. But, you know... sore spot for every comic book fan in existence.

And it looks like there are going to be two Mysterio's? Hmmm. I'm REALLY looking forward to this now. Decent, cartoon style art that I expect in FNSM, Mysterio is back...worth picking up.

And Marvel Team Up looks great as always, the art change is going to be such a breath of fresh air. The artist on the past 3 issues or so really was ruining the story, but thankfully Kirkman is a really good writer...so it wasn't a total loss.

Gaurdian Devil already kicked him up to the A-Level - his death included. Having it be yet another 'Tee Hee! Fooled you! I faked my death again!' would simply cheapen it.

Keep Beck dead. He went out in the only way Mysterio could. It was awesome - and while I'll always miss him, I want him to stay dead.

Two Mysterio's could be cool - especially if they work together. One working the costume, the other the gadgets - could bring a whole new dimension to the character.

Agreed. The death of the first Mysterio was good, and needs to stay that way. Much like Harry Osborn's death in Spectacular Spider-Man # 200. A good way for the character to go. LEAVE IT ALONE!
