I appreciate the honesty, but I always wonder why is he always so happy with a status quo. And why couldn't he say this a year ago? Or 7 months ago? He always waits until something becomes a blaring problem and is directly confronted before he says anything. Like, he won't, say, come up front and schedule a series as a bi-monthly or quarterly. He'll wait until it's, say, a few weeks or months late and go, "oh, yeah, this happened, whoops". And this is a man who prints comics blasting Pres. Bush for basically leading THE EXACT SAME WAY?

To be fair, DC is having its own ad problems as well.

That Legion Of Monsters sounds intriguing.

The black costume is Spidey's best, absolutely, but I just hate all this shameless tie-in crap. People who read Spider-Man comics are going to see the damn movie no matter what. Hell, most carbon-based lifeforms are going to see the movie. So stop pulling this ****.

I think its more a way of promoting the comics to people who've seen the film.

As he says in the interview its only recently that advertisers have contracted the location of the advert. A year ago he did answer it with an answer that has now changed due to things being different now.

Not that I think the level of adverts is anywhere near justifiable.
