Possibly Bond?? Nolan has stated that he would love to do a Bond film.

Yeah thats the first thing that came to my mind but Nolan isnt going to have time to do a Bond film any time in the next 4-5 years now that he has announced he is doing "The Prisoner" after "The Dark Knight".

i could see nolan doing a bond film after his batman run. Nolan is undoubteadly going to be a huge huge director.

I really can't wait for this... I'm sure everyone knew that Nolan would go with a more darker/scary Joker... I can only imagine how it will play on screen...

Not right away....but maybe in 6 years. Nolan IMO is destined to do a Bond film sometime in his filmmaking career.

Maybe they were talking about the The Exec.....based on a graphic futuristic novel?

Iam liking this, Nolan: "things get much worse before they can get better"

It sounds like bats will really have a bad time in this one, it also sounds like this one will be the empire strikes back of the batman franchise, which for me is a great thing.

Now that Nolan mentioned the theme of the movie being things getting worse before they get better, and having multiple villains in the movie, I´m thinking about the title, as you know "dark knight" is also a pun with "dark night", which, in this case, could mean dark times coming for Gotham...

Might be so.

But I am more interested in Joker's role. He may be serial killer of mob bosses, and that guy, who created all this Gang War.

Ideally, shouldn't all the Batman films be like ESB? :p

And he didnt say anything new in the interview? Maybe you people need to read it again. He just gave us insight into some of the themes in the movie, and that the title is intergal.

It also somewhat confirms that tidbit we heard about the sequel being noticeably darker than Begins.

yes, I agreed with you this one will be like The Empire Strikes Back in the Stars Wars saga.

I just hope they don't over do it by making things too worse because we might really get to see Robin or batgirl helping batman out.

Old school Joker byatches! That's what I'm talking about. I can totally see Joker killing off mob bosses 'Kane Joker style'. This Joker will be a cold, bastard killer no doubts to it.

And this wil get worse before they get better. Ecellent! Joker on the loose, Mob war, Dent turning, man this will rock the kazba!

Yeah and we will finally get to see Ledger paly a bad guy. Now that will be awesome and the showdown between him and Batman might be something we've never seen before.

I think he means in terms of incidents and I'm sure it will have to do with gotham getting worse.

I'd love to see Batman try and try to get The Joker only to miss him by seconds. Then by the end, he gets him and for some reason best the ever loving piss outta him, only to be stoped by Jim Gordon.

Nolan is taking Joker material from my favorite Joker story of all time (Batman #1) - Greatness!

Excellent news. Looking forward to DK as much as always, if not a little more. 2008 can't come soon enough.
