The Dark Knight From LatinoReview: Joker Intro SPOILERS!

Interesting, I had no idea some actors went this far. But from what I've heard we will be in for a big treat with Ledger's performance. :yay:

SOME actors go this far. It's by no means an average actor thing, but Method actors will often do things like this. It's certainly the first instance I've heard of an actor going to such lengths for a comic book movie villain.

Well yea I think Ledger is definatley going above and beyond for such an intense and unique character such as the Joker. I think he is getting deep into a character that most never would. Becoming as in insane as the Joker is not easy. And it seems Ledger has pulled it off.

i feel like a deaf kid at a concert.

hes going to rob a bank. for real....mark my words.

Does ANYBODY know who posted those runway models? Or in what thread? The ones whose looks slightly inspired Joker?

Anybody? I'd like to see those.

Huh?

Runway models?

I swear I saw a bunch of pictures on here of male models, wearing clothes that looked like stuff Joker would wear. They all had gray, thick make-up on their faces. I can't remember what thread it was posted in or who posted it.

It's the line of clothes from that one lady. The Joker's look is slightly based on it.

Heh. Even BATMAN ON FILM posters mostly hate this concept.

I saw them. They're in the "Translator Needed" thread.

Robin will stop him.

You think a common killer was more feared than John Dillinger or Bonnie and Clyde, or the James brothers were "less feared" than some guy who killed a few people? Through in that all that money is the mobs and I'd say he is a lot bigger than a serial killer.

let me clarify what I mean. Not just kill any body, but take out a HUGE mob boss, someone that people wouldn't even dream of killing, and the Joker does it with ease and no remorse (sp?). Goes completely nuts and proves himself to be more fearful than anyone else, there for making him the man the other familes or mobs or gangs enlist to kill batman, because he's the only one crazy enough to do what is neccassary (sp?). and from what I read, in the first 5 mins, i took it as it shows how he became so feared and something like that I think would really get the point across.

Vivienne Westwood, the "punk rock" designer was mentionned. I'm not surprised the Joker would become a fashion icon. He truly has a great sense of style.

All two of them. Most of them are defending it.

What are you talking about? I just went through all five/six pages of the thread over there. Most of them hated the idea.

Yeah I don't think the guy who played Dr Doom went to such lengths.

Seems like Ledger has really lost himself in this part. Anyone who can sleep two hours, wake up, and then finds his mind racing and pondering Jokeresque thoughts , instantaneously garners my admiration.

Heath you are a crazy b:up: tch.

I would prefer not to see PATIENT J lumped in with DEAD END, if that's all right with you all. I find that the writers put a lot more depth into their portrayal of The Joker than DEAD END did. And uh...

Anyway, I translated it.

It's still a terribly written, terribly acted, terribly directed fan film.

It's basically MatchesMalone and Maniac Bill. Who else?

the above statement has been highlighted because it is one of the most absurd things ive ever read on the hype.

everyone is entitled to their opinion but c'mon.

oh, and batman does not wear cloth, it is body armor in the books son. currently its kevlar i believe.

Did he seriously miss the part of Batman Begins getting an oscar nod with best Cinematography?
