I'm talking about this news, not the actual movie. This news sucks. If it's true, part of the movie really blows.
Yeah, I should stay calm when my most anticipated movie of all time is turning out to be something I don't want.![]()

BB was done wonderfuly and TDK seems to be even better in terms of depth of plot. And yes TLH is definatley a source for TDK even more so then BB.
1. These are old-school gangsters. I wouldn't put it past them to keep all their ill-gotten gains in-house, in a bank THEY own. The dialogue from the sides suggests that they felt their reputation alone would stop anyone from hitting the bank.
(...)
3. These are the same gangsters whose boss - Falcone - goes down to the scene of a drug shipment to "keep an eye on things", then when Batman attacks he goes outside to investigate instead of making a quiet getaway. They aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer.
critizising a plot point makes one a fanboy?

That's not old-school, that's a different kind of school... The kind of school you go if you can't keep up in the regular school...
No it makes you a troll. You spend most of your time in the Burton side of the forums so stay there.
What is going on today it seems all the bashers have come over to the TDK forum just to gripe.
What is wrong with this story? People should pick up TLH and read it a little bit before going on about how this sucks. Nolan has this under control But all these guys coming in and bashing it look at their post history, they are mainly in the Burton forums...go figure.
See, you people can't get it through your thick skulls that not all of us loved Batman Begins. And TLH had Carmine Falcone attempting to launder money through Gotham National Bank, which is way more intelligent than this stupidity.

and want TDK to fail
And BB is much more intelligent then Burtons films by far.
When did this happen in TLH?
The off-shore bank account option just didnt pop-up yesterday its been around for awhile, Almost every Batman story(there are exceptions, I know) has been set with some 50's style to it, even the previous movies, but it is very much modern in Begins, also if we got everything that has been "spoiled" to us, then this would contradict everything we've gotten or heard from Nolan since 2005. I'm not saying this stuff is horrible or that I dont want to see it, b/c some of the things sound very interesting, but I just dont think realistically we are getting all this.
Go back and read Keyser's post about how this is based off of TLH and the "Old School" gangsters and how they control the banks/ try to.
And it is clear now your here to troll, so I suggest you leave.
And how do you know the money isn't being laundered through the bank? All we know is that the money's there to be stolen.
How dare you try and offer a valid explanation for this plot point? Anyone who tears it to pieces is just a rational person expressing their right to an opinion, but bah Gawd, if you dare to DEFEND it, you're a blind, raving Nolanite!
Well I agree but we don't like you said know the whole story yet. And people get a little tid bit from LR, a very ...iffy site and they act like they know how the whole movie is going down. And that it represents everything.

I want to see this from some place other than LR. I really cant recall the last time they got something right, but who knows Nolan could be doing all this to keep us talking through the writers strike.
Maybe I could buy this idea, if the Joker used hackers to hold the mobs bank accounts... And use the old "if something happens to me..."
