Yep that would be correct!
Damn I don't know if it was solely because I didn't have much in terms of high expectations for this, but surprisingly I really enjoyed it. A huge improvement over the first Annabelle IMO, and easily my favorite movie in the Conjuring franchise so far. This is the kind of well directed, strongly acted, tense/suspenseful supernatural horror film that I go for. Major props to David F. Sandberg, because even though I wasn't that impressed with Lights Out I can definitely tell the guy has talent, and if he keeps this up I can see him being the next James Wan in a couple of years.
8/10

To conclude #ScareDiego, #BreakingNews! Gary Dauberman will direct the next #Annabelle movie, set when the Warrens bring her back to their artifact room, targeting their daughter Judy. James Wan calls it A Night At The Museum with Annabelle!
So it's basically going to be a feature length version of this scene from the first movie.https://***********/clarkewolfe/status/1019824214918889473
Then doesnt that basically make this the third Conjuring movie?
We’ve learned that the plot for the upcoming Annabelle 3 centers around Judy being left home with a pair of babysitters, taking the Warrens and their vast experience, out of the picture. Teenage babysitters Mary Ellen Jones and Denise Fuller took a bad job, as explained by the film’s logline: Mary Ellen and her friend Denise spend a quiet evening babysitting Judy until their encounter with the Annabelle doll causes the evening to take a dark turn.
Annabelle 3 will begin filming in Los Angeles this October and is currently casting for Mary Ellen, Denise and Judy. The film is expected to release sometime in the summer of 2019.
