Frozen 2

Aren't there other people who have covered the song as well? Why exclude them from the lawsuit?

They're technically not, but they're the faces of the song. He won't get anywhere suing the writers if he wants some major publicity for whatever reason.

If Celine Dion did a cover some years later, would he sue her instead since she's probably more famous than those other two?

Lovato and Menzel don't have any ownership or copyright of the song, what does suing them accomplish? A judge should laugh this out of court and force this guy to pay for the legal fees.

They aren't even the ones who breached the copyright. It's not like they wrote the song and stole the melody from the guy. They just sung it.

He should sue every person on YouTube who has ever done a cover of the song too. :o

Lawsuits in America are like a shotgun: Fire them off and spray as far and wide as possible in the hopes some of it hits a target that pays out.

Even if it really were stolen, he's going after everyone but the thieves. :o

Elsa: These violent delights have violent ends.

So ERW is playing Elsa's love interest, right? RIGHT!?

The anti-SJW sect of movie fandom would be enraged by it.

So yeah, hopefully.

It's a children's movie, dude. It doesn't need a LGBTQ+ message.
What in the world does that mean? Also, if you only knew what happens on the children's show my avatar is from. :funny:

Or anime. Or Adventure Time (Bubblegum and Marceline are totally ex-girlfriends), etc.

I don't even think that Disney would be ethically/philosophically opposed to the idea, they have experimented with having LGBT couples in a few of their TV shows.

It's more do they think that the rewards outweigh the risks business-wise. Also if ANY property could get away with doing this, it'd be this one as it's so ridiculously huge/profitable.

How do we know Elsa is a lesbian? Why does she need any love interest in the movie anyway?
