Frozen 2

I feel like this one will pit Elsa against someone with Fall powers.
Now that you mention it, it does look like someone is using magic in this scene.

But who, that's the question. Is it the girl?

Wasn't the biggest fan of the first movie, but that teaser is very well done. This will obviously make a killing at the B.O, but I don't quite see it being a threat to TLK or Endgame. At the end of the day though it really doesn't even matter because Disney is the distributor of 3 or 4 of the biggest films this year and if any studio is winning its going to be them. They are going to make other studios look small in comparison.

Dumbo, Aladdin, Lion King
Toy Story 4, Frozen
Captain Marvel, End Game
Episode IX

Really seems like 2019 is Disney's A game while 2020 seems to be like B.

Maleficent 2, Mulan, Jungle Cruise
Pixar"s Onward
Black Widow, Doctor Strange 2?
No Star Wars

They could of pushed back Aladdin or Lion King for next year.

I think it’s her: as she turns her head, the leaves begin to move. Granted, I don’t know why she’s trying to send some poor guy flying into the air, but it looks to me like she’s the one doing that.

I wish we could be speculating on a live action version of Frozen and suggesting actresses to play the parts. Maybe one day.

Even Disney wouldn't dare do that until a decade later.

She looks kinda young, maybe she has trouble with controlling powers and Elsa becomes a tutor of sorts?

Eww why? The animated version is perfect. But hey give it ten more years and I’m sure you’ll get your wish.

Because she's EVIL

What if the two kids are Disney's take on Gerda and Kai? You know, the protagonists of the original Snow Queen tale.

The previous movie had them in it; they're two of the servants we see early on.

After what happened to Beauty and the Beast and (apparently) Aladdin, I have less than zero interest in that. WDAS still tries to push the envelope, apparently even in their sequels. That is much more appealing than an inferior regurgitation of what we already have seen. The only exception among the Disney remakes (and there's been I feel like close to 10 of them at this point) is The Jungle Book. That's not a great batting average.

I really liked Cinderella and thought that was a great live action remake.

Beauty and the Beast still did very well commercially. Better than Cinderella, even though Cinderella was probably more faithful.

I like how they amplified the epicness of the trailer by adding this shot. You usually see it in epics like the Avengers or Lord of the Rings.

In some movies there's someone who looks at a character while a shoot is sweeping

Maybe Elsa will show up in an MCU movie one day! Perhaps when they get the X-Men.

Awesome teaser. Over 7 million views and 38,000 comments and it's still day 1, it's almost like people are looking forward to this.:D

I know I'll be there opening day.

How come Elsa doesn't do an ice slide like Killer Frost, or like Iceman is supposed to do, but never seems to be able to in the X-Men films? She could've used that to get over the waves.

Something like this:

nice 1st trailer.

don't care for all the "talk" of making Elsa a lesbian, though. I sincerely hope Disney doesn't go that route, cuz that would pretty much kill what interest I have in this ( and you all know how much I loved Elsa and the 1st Frozen ).

call me old fashioned, but I just feel political agendas, sexuality, etc. should be kept out of children's animated films. Parents should be able to take their kids to see an animated fantasy film without having to deal with issues that they may or may not be comfortable or ready to discuss with their kids yet.

and if you do want to introduce a lesbian princess ( or gay prince ), then I'd rather they'd do that with a brand new character and be upfront and outright about it. Instead of tacking it on to an existing character 6 years later.

How is it tacking onto a character who had no story related to romance. On a character, whose story resonates for very good reason for many gay people.

As for parents dealing with uncomfortable topics due to a Disney movie? Bambi was over 75 years ago. Tough ****.

It just comes down to how they execute it. Having a homosexual character doesn’t automatically make it a political agenda. As much as some would like to deny it, we live in a modern Western society where most people know someone who is homosexual. It’s a part of life now and fortunately, isn’t the stigma it used to be. So if the creators want to reflect that, and do it in a way that is still told well, then they should. There are plenty of other animated movies out there with non-homosexual characters that families can still enjoy.
