Full solicitations for marvel's november are out

wisdom, bullet points, avengers next, onslaught reborn, ultimate vision and immortal iron-fist. Heavy month for new series (my wallet...insert painfull comment)

Iron Man 14 cover looks awesome

Cap cover ends specualtion over whether falcon's gonna bite it

and wolverine cover just takes the piss after the number of threads concerning his new godlike status. The explanation better be good. (If it's he's on the same pills as nitro I'm gonna be pissed!)

- The return of A-Next? Wow, I'm surprised.
- Finally, Fantastic Four: The End! Why Alan Davis, though? Odd choice.
- A collection of Heroes Reborn titles? Alrighty then.
- Juggy better stay a hero.
- Stan Lee specials look awesome.
- Gladiator should kick Vulcan's ass.
- What If?'s still look crappy/weird.
- Wisdom looks too much like Constantine.
- Another Earth's Mightiest Heroes should be cool.
- Pretty excited for Bullet Points. A little JLA: The Nail like, but should be interesting.
- Doc Strange's sidekick is the Night Nurse? ****in' A!
- X-Factor #13 is going to rock.
- Immortal Iron Fist-> :up:

Looks like people got their wish and Rogue is showing up in Ms. marvel.

I love the wording on the Iron Man soilicitation.

The Story: CIVIL WAR Tie-In!
Tony Stark’s life has become a living nightmare. Forced to fight against his former allies over the Superhuman Registration Act, he’s paying the highest possible price for his beliefs. Reconnecting with old friends proves bittersweet as it leads to high risks and impossible decisions. In this Civil War issue, it’s not just about whose side he’s on... it’s about what kind of a man he is.
32 PGS./Rated A ...$2.99

WOLVERINE #48
Written by MARC GUGGENHEIM
Pencils & Cover by HUMBERTO RAMOS
Epilogue to "Vendetta"
Logan’s survived a plane crash, near-decapitation and being burned alive. The question is... HOW? In this special epilogue to the sellout smash Civil War tie-in arc, the answers start to unfold. Think you know everything there is to know about Marvel’s most popular mutant? Think again. Logan’s newest mystery begins here.
32 PGS./Parental Advisory ...$2.99

I swear I have nothing against the character, I actually like Wolverine. But, when I said he was immortal and thus an Omega--I was kidding.

Wow..Ultimate Spider-man 102 looks great..this new arc is great!

So is Avengers Next an ongoing? Looks like the MC2 is coming back with a vengeance.

Judging from that Cap #24 cover,it's assumable that
Goliath
bites it.

Also
Daredevil/Iron-Fist
isn't featured either so perhaps he's the traitor they keep mentioning....

I figured the traitor was from the Pro-Reg side, and is most likely going to be Spider-Man.

"In the midst of the Civil War, Cap faces his worst fears, as friends desert his cause, and comrades in arms lie dead or wounded. And among all this, the Red Skull begins to make his moves, with a few startling comrades of his own this time. This stunning conclusion of DRUMS OF WAR sets the stage for the next year of Captain America stories that will have everyone talking"

Ok so we know who's not on the cover for this one, we know they're not gonna gonna kill
Daredevil/iron-fist
. Ladies and gentlemen we have our traitor. Now does he just punk out or is he going to swtich sides???

Ah, my mistake. Though I really hope
Danny
doesn't betray the Anti-Regs, he's too cool.

He might not "betray" them, he might simply leave the country like Ben

Seems like Spidey'll be back in the old red and blues by November too, judging by the covers he's featured on

looks like NOVA may bite it too

stupid if you ask me...

Looks pretty good, aside for the Onslaught/Liefield rehash, not much to be angered about. CW is chugging along and proving itself an allegory against all things Bush-Republican, but we knew that was coming and so long as it keeps a focus on the story as well, I don't mind. It is timely.

And it looks like RUNAWAYS will actually tie into their CW crossover (written by Zeb Wells) by issue #22 when "Dead Means Dead" is over. Good to know.

Marvel's reprinting some MC2 stuff? Sweet. Now if only they're reprint SLINGERS in a volume so I wouldn't have to race across Brooklyn and Manhattan and shell out about $50 bucks if I dare want the entire run.

Hopefully Carey's UFF run is as good as Millar's, as Ferry's covers look very spacy and sweet. About time the UFF hit the stars again.

Not looking foward to Ultimate Cable at all, hopefully Kirkman doesn't pull another dud with the title.

I still wish Wanda's return could have been in Heinberg's next volume of YOUNG AVENGERS and not NEW AVENGERS. YA could have used the "event" boost as historically it always sold in the Top 35 or so, which is good but not as good as earlier issues. I also feel Heinberg would be more willing to write Wanda as someone who'd been one of Marvel's premire heroines for much of her history, instead of a bat-crap insane plot device who suddenly is acting like it's 1964 again.

And as usual, covers and solicts give away key plot details to stories that haven't been read yet. Sigh. Why can DC do solicts that maintain surprise and not Marvel? This is the burning question.

I'm pretty sure the purple chick on Greg Land's Ultimate Power cover has the exact same head as she did on the first cover.

I may end up buying ULTIMATE POWER but I can easily say I'm quite uninterested by the premise. It just smacks of trying to put out yet another Ultimate mini for sales, not because it offers much to the universe. Comics have a bad habit of overextending successful "lines" (in the past 6 years, Marvel's put out 20 side Wolverine projects, for instance; that averages more than 3 a year, not including his ongoing, and the X-Line has been notoriously extended many times, same with Batman books). I just don't get it.

Ultimate "events" almost never work out. Ultimate books work better as a short list of core titles that share the same universe, but when they put out some event series it almost always is underwhelming. ULTIMATE GALACTUS, Joe Q claims, lost steam because they got a fill-in artist for SECRET. I wonder if instead it lost steam because it was meandering and late for almost it's entire run, even without fill-ins. But whatever. Whenever a series underperforms, Joe Q never explores the reason behind being the actual story, it's always something else. The artist, the retailers, the Internet. I usually find it a classic "pot calling the kettle black" when they make stories that criticize the Bush Presidency when Marvel's editorial dept. has almost the same tactic with avoiding responsibility for mistakes or even admitting mistakes happen. Look, we're all human and we all mess up. But there's a difference between admitting responsibility and shirking it. Admittedly, however, to play Devil's Advocate, an editor or something who dares admit a mistake on the Internet gets eaten alive on the MB's.

It'll be particularly interesting on account of the disparity of power levels. I mean who in the ultimate universe other than the hulk and thor could take on the combo of hyperion and dr spectrum. Strong as they are I think the two from the ultimate universe will get spanked initially. Also universe crossovers are a little more interesting than regular ones on account of that it's the only time you'll get to see these two sets of characters interacting. My only hope is that this isn't some lame attempt to combine the ultimate and supreme universes. That would suck balls...
