Funniest Scene

El, I see your points. However, you asked what I think she added and I will say this and stop. She was just eh "average" "layman" that provided comedic relief by saying what most of us wanted to; done solely for the purposes of entertainment. That's what it is. Take it or leave it.

I agree a lot of superhero films are going this direction. Ryan Reynolds as GL is a prime example. Sarcastic witty reluctant superheroes that grow up and become iconic saviors of the world, blah, blah, blah. Yeah they could make these superhero guys closer to the comics, but then again in the 2 hours they have to make the character relatable I guess they feel making them smart asses that grow up is the way to go.

There I'm done. Now back to the funny scenes.

The warriors 3 and Sif looking like yokels outside the windows.

Not a funny scene, but the mention of Hulk/David Banner vanishing after S.H.I.E.L.D. comes through.

Ok, can we just continue discussing funny parts of the movie (the reason this thread was started)?

That discussion is utterly unhelpful

Payaso, you're bordering on trolling here

If you didn't find Thor funny, then why post in the "Funniest Scene" thread??

I'd have to go with the scene where Thor strode into the pet shop and asked for a horse. :D

^That scene made me literally laugh out loud and got the biggest laughs from the audience.

When Thor gets hit by the truck a second time because he just comes out of nowhere and BAM! he's down.

A subtler bit of humor that I really liked was when Sif and the Warriors Three confront Heimdall to go to Earth. Heimdall's like, "You would travel to Earth, betraying the express orders of Loki, our king?" Sif says, "Yes," and then almost before she's finished saying the word, Heimdall goes, "Good." The audience chuckled at that scene both times I've seen the movie so far. :D

I have posted about scenes I have found funny and why. Read first, accuse later. Now, if you're not a mod you're bordering name-calling here, I have not done anything against the rules.

I see we agree more than we don't.

It's been actually a pleasure to discuss with you sir.

I think we do agree more than we don't. I think it was the semantics of the conversation that we were differing on than anything else.

@BoredGuy El's okay, he's just expressing his point of views, as we all do. That's the point of these forums, right. Plus, I enjoy the differing views of other hypsters because it allows me to critically examine topics. All is fun.

Everybody already mentioned every funny part in this movie, and they all were indeed funny. I was pleasently surprised.

The audience laughed really hard at that and I thought it was probably the funniest part. Also Thor's smile for Darcy when she tells him to smile.

When I was in the theater most people laughed when Heimdall left after saying "Good" and the warriors three are all confused until they see he left the sword.

For some interesting reason, every time I've seen Thor, I've heard quite a few people giggling, smirking, and laughing a bit at the scene where Jane implants her passionate kiss on Thor..I wonder why?lol

pssst Herolee it's the HAMMER......Jane loves tools, she made most of her equipment in her lab. :D
