FXs new drama - Justified - starring Timothy Olyphant - Part 1

This was the 'Ozymandias' episode of the Justified series imo. One of the shows absolute best.

I think tonight was the most evil act we've seen Boyd commit as he did with Shea Whigham's character. :wow:

We pretty much know the direction every character is heading in at this point except for one.....Wynn Duffy. He is a giant wild card right now.

I am so going to miss this show. :( I'll just have to comfort myself with my newest Justified T-shirt. Has your avvy on it, James. Had to have it as soon as I saw it. :p

That was beautiful. ****, this show is on a roll.

"Your Teeth Glow In The Dark" is so great.

Surprised Wynn (Forrest Gump) is going to take on Raylan/Boyd/Markum.

Why doesn't this greatness get longer episodes for the end? These have been too tight with 40 minutes the last few weeks... SOA got too much extra time.

Can't believe we have reached the series finale.:( I'm not ready for it to end.

I want that! Where did you get it from? Link me up squeak! :D

I was going to ask if the finale gets extra time -it doesn't I guess? That's a shame, I was hoping we'd get a longer episode to wrap things up. Still, you know they won't waste any of the time they do have and every second will be gold.

Thanks squeakness!

I find this show so hard to pick great quotes from because they're almost in every darn scene. No show I know of has ever had dialogue as sharp as Justified.

It truly is the witty banter between Raylan and Boyd that makes this show. It drew me in from the start and has kept me all these years. :)

I like this reference. This show has always been great, but it's really going all out for its final season!

Jesus, I have loved this show from the first scene, but I don't I have ever loved it more then right now. So, so, so good. I love the way they have brought so much back, without it feeling forced. Plus the new has been just as good. Life is going to suck without new Justified, but they are sure sending it off in the manner it deserves. And to think, after season 5 I was a bit concerned about the finale.

I am so genuinely concerned that Raylan won't make it, or that Boyd will get away. I am actually kind of ashamed about how much I care. Also, Bob has to make it.

I'll be genuinely pissed if Raylan dies or winds up in jail because of that idiot DA. I really hope that's not where this is going.

God, I love Raylan's look this season. So badass.

I am going to have to put away all my valuables. If something bad happens, I might have to break everything.

I recently rewatched seasons 1-4 and part of 5 and I dont recall that DA being that ignorant or that anti-Raylan. This seems like the writers needed some extra tension and drama so they made the DA suddenly develope some ludicrous vendetta against Raylan based on a theory that has absolutely no tangible basis drawn from any actual evidence that would stand up in a court room. And he is persuing this baseless vendetta during a HUGE manhunt for two federal fugitives who are capable of hurting anyone who gets in their way. And Raylan is most qualified to catch these two fugitives.

Sure it creates tension but its just cheap and lazy writing. Its the only real gripe I have about this season.

Raylan's always been given crap over his personal relationships with the people he's out to arrest. He caught a lot of flak for his fling with Ava in S1. I was honestly surprised that Vasquez brought Raylan on at the send of last season for the RICO case against Boyd.

Yeah, I have to agree with you there. It seems needless, especially considering, like you said, he seemed to respect Raylan a lot up until this point. Luckily, I think the writers realize how ridiculous it is, which is why everyone looked at him like he was nuts when he was ranting in the office in the last episode.

can't wait for that Raylan vs. Boone showdown. looks like it takes place after Raylan wraps up everything with Boyd and Ava and is about to leave town.
