This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]479487[/split]
It's nothing more than fan fiction that people get attached to because they don't know WW.
If you think that was an example of being crude....I suggest you return to the monastery you wondered away from.I faild to see the need for such crude sarcasm.

They would not be Kryptonian if they were here for 20000 years. They Just would be an evolved race of Kryptonian decent. 20000 years is older than any human civilization. that is enough time for them to be what they are in the comics . I don't think it's ridiculous . I think it's cool original writing.I hope the ridiculousness of atlanteans and amazons being kryptonian is referenced in the movie by a crazy conspiracy theorist like the ancient aliens guy.

What? I am not saying they have to be. I am just saying that the idea is pretty cool, imo. and I am explaining that they wound not be technically Krytonian, since atlantians have evolve to adapt under the sea.Why does either HAVE to be connected though? People say this all the time to defend the idea.
"It doesn't actually have to change anything." Well if it's not changing anything (I disagree... It DOES change things) why do it at all?

I have noticed on Twitter that Gal Gadot gets a good amount of love internationally.
Because it's unique writing that could make the film more interesting. There are a lot of cool ideas out there for these characters and fanchises, but that doesn't mean all of then work well or even SHOULD be considered.
Again, I think anyone would have to explain why this change in the characters story/origin would be a necessity. If it's changed, WHY does it need to be. If it doesn't "really change anything" then why do it at all?
Secondly, if you had a population of human beings on another planet, regardless of what genetic engineering adaptations they did to survive on said planet, I'm thinking the native population would still call them "Those Earthers/Terrans."

I think it's pretty lame if there was more than one superpower entity on earth out of coincidence, just for the sake of a Justice League Movie. It's like all these characters are shoved in, instead trying to make them fit. I just don't see Wonder Woman mythos fitting in the Man of Steel World that Zack has created.
And secondly , hypothetically speaking about the fan theory, I don't think the Atlantians would care what the human race thinks of them, they still probably would not consider themselves Krtptonian since their civilization is older than ours, and have been living on this planet for thousands of years, and have evolve into different species . Our world created them when they evolve to adapt to earth, so in a way, that makes them part of earth as much as we are part of earth.
And, like mentioned, it would tie in nicely with the events of the MoS prequel comic, if (big IF) the Kara Zor-El stranded on Earth 18.000 years ago-timeline is indeed considered canon.Wonder Woman mythos fitting in the Man of Steel World that Zack has created.
One of the biggest appeals in having integrated Superhero Universes (meaning the MARVEL/DC ones we've had for 76 years) is that they are HUGE vistas, gestalt fictions that encompass the origins of each unique hero, even if nominally they take place in the same "world". So, I just don't see what's so appealing about making everything in the MOS DCCU connected to Krypton. It LIMITS things, not expands them as I (and I am sure others) see it. Since it's not, ya'know, REAL LIFE, why is it some sort of "coincidence" that we have a planet full of TOTALLY HUMAN LOOKING ALIENS which sent us one lone survivor that happens to be able to also survive in our environment and get superpowers, BUT IT'S UNREASONABLE to then also introduce a race from sunken Atlantis that breathes underwater and a magically hidden island of Amazons that are so because of the power of the mythological Greek Gods? It seems an arbitrary line in the sand. Why are we injecting what we BELIEVE is total 100% airtight logic NOW? Cuz, it flew out the door once you agreed to "totally human looking alien that gets superpowers from our gravity, atmosphere and Sun."
Not looking for a verbal fight to the death or something (I think badgrammar isn't either) but I think the main reason why the whole Kryptonian ancestry thing would be appealing and is brought up time and again (just for some things in the MoS DCCU including Wonder Woman and certainly not everything) is because some people (obviously the minority here) don't find the
