Just as great as the first episode. Direwolves >>>>> True Blood's "werewolves"
Also, Daenerys' slave girl is gorgeous. Is she a recurring character in the books?
I am ready for Sean Bean to kill her
I am ready for Sean Bean to kill her
Can anyone put in spoiler tags what Sean Bean does when Bran spills the beans if he can ? Does he ignore him because hes a kid or does he leave / kick king & co out etc
I just caught both episodes a couple hours ago too. Really looking to check out the books now!!
That's a little too big of a spoiler. How much time do you have?
Good second episode. I missed Ghost (Jon Snow's Direwolf) a bit but I'm sure he'll show up soon. By the way [BLACKOUT]I sure hope Cersi was lying about what she told Cat, because that would kind of go against the book's version of Cersi.[/BLACKOUT]
Btw that gif shall be used whenever a dumb post hits the forums!![]()
Never read the books, nor do I have any intention on doing so, but I've watched the first two episodes of the show and I'm in love with it!
Not having read the books, I'll need to keep away from this thread.
You guys are posting spoilers left and right!
HAHAHA!!! Found this!

Don't forget book 5 in July.I've ordered the 4-book set from Amazon, and it should be arrived next month (thanks to the free shipping). Hopefully I'll have the time to read them although time has been the luxury for me and I don't have alot of it.
Screw that! It's one thing to compare to the LOTR books, which have been out for decades, versus something like this, that most people don't know a thing about.A lot of it is unintentional truly. Before 2 weeks ago this thread was only filled with people who have read the books and the occasional weekly "What the hell is this about" from someone else. We spoke freely, now it seems their are constraints. Most of us have lived with the story for years and read them many, many times and with all the characters and complexities you could re-read these books almost infinitely.
As for spoilers from books to movies. I'm always reminded of years ago when LOTR was coming out and some interviewer on E! asked Ian M if he could give any spoilers to the movie, he looked at her and said "My dear, do you know they are published." I see it the same way, it's not a spoiler if it's been out for years, just a person who wants to be spoon fed slowly.
Wow that was an amazing episode. I have no idea where this show is going and I love it. The dwarf is my favorite character (sorry I forgot his name) of the Lannister family. The way he needles his brother at the dinner table, plays with John on the way to the wall or just beats that little brat senseless. Great character. Which is something because of all the families, I think the Lannisters are the most detestable. Incest, child murder, animal cruelty? In two episodes they've crossed off every reason to hate them.
I think it is funny last week ended with a boy getting pushed out a window and no one batted an eye but because a wolf was killed off-screen in this episode people on Twitter and the like are "quitting" on the show. I mean it was sad, but it's not like this was Narnia for the two hours leading up to that.
Anyway, I cna't wait to see what the show does next.
