My Dad had to call me at work today because he read the red wedding chapter and said

THEY KILLED ROB AND CATELYN STARK WTF?!!!I'VE READ 2 1/2 VERY LONG BOOKS WAITING FOR STARK REVENGE AND THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS?

Laughing I told him to just keep reading because the end of that book is spectacular. If the series makes it that far I can't imagine the reaction of the general HBO viewer. Probably have the same reaction as my Dad.

I had the same reaction at first, but as you read you start to see things turning and coming to bear....people will get what's coming to them....espcially Cersei

Lena Headey ("Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," 300) will co-star in HBO's fantasy pilot "Game of Thrones," an adaptation of the George R.R. Martin fantasy book series that chronicles a battle among seven kingdoms and two ruling families for control of the Iron Throne.

She will play Queen Cersei of House Lannister, wife of King Robert (Mark Addy) and sister of twin brother Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and outsider younger brother Tyrion (Peter Dinkladge).

The cast of the pilot is led by previously cast Sean Bean as battle-weary Ned Stark, who leaves his home to serve the king.

Jason Momoa has been cast as Khal Drogo and the pilot cast is complete.

So basically every main role for the Pilot is filled now. If the first season gets greenlit there are still major roles to be filled (Renly Baratheon, Littlefinger, Varys, Tywin Lannister, Gregor Clegane, Barristan Selmy etc.), but for now it seems that they have done the major job. Can't wait the filming to start. We'll hear scoops! And may see crappy fan-taken pictures!

actually Cersei really isn't naked all that much....in the beginning of the first book a bit then not again till the 3rd or 4th

Lena Headey is pretty enough...they'll just have to dye or wig her hair....the easiest way is to dye the front and wig the back

The only time I remember where Cersei might be naked is when the Baratheons visit Stark Castle.
But Daenerys and Khal Drogo are naked ALL THE TIME!
