They're coming to Australia, only reason I'd go is because I love Butch Vig.
Didn't they close with Androgyny? There is a video of it on Youtube from San Francisco. Good that they added that to the setlist. They played it last time in 2002.It was great, they always put on a great show. Setlist was good but predictable, I'm glad they played several new songs from the latest album as I had seen they were only playing 3 at the start of the tour.
They did close with Beloved Freak (which I know you really liked) but I just can't, I can't! I was disappointed with the closer.

Looks interesting. I might buy it at some point. It's the first offical book about them."It was 1995, we were finishing our debut album, and I was stressed. A lot of music business people had told me it was a mistake to give up full-time music production to start a band. So I ignored them all and took a leap of faith. The simplest reason was that I just wanted to be in a band with my friends. I'd been playing with Duke and Steve for several years, and now we had a new beginning with an X factor: a Scottish singer named Shirley. She seemed like a good fit for our little club of misfits. So we all took that leap." Drummer Butch Vig, from This Is the Noise That Keeps Me Awake
World famous for their eclectic, original style, Garbage have enjoyed critical and commercial success for more than twenty years. Now, for the first time, the four band members tell the story of their incredible journey in their own words. This full-color book examines how Garbage makes their music, the tolls this takes, and how they have survived for this long.
Garbage (Shirley Manson, Butch Vig, Steve Marker, and Duke Erikson) formed in Wisconsin in 1994. Their debut album, Garbage, sold over four million copies and they were nominated for three Grammy awards. They've since recorded five more multimillion-copy bestselling albums as well as the theme song to the James Bond movie The World Is Not Enough. In 2015 they celebrated the twentieth anniversary of their debut record with a worldwide tour. Garbage's sixth album, Strange Little Birds, was released in 2016.
I wish they would have included that in the CD version too. It's a really good atmospheric song. Shirley sounds now better than ever.Edit: The bonus track is on youtube but has the F word in the title. Search "****ing With You"
The video doesn't work here where I live for some reason. Good that there is Spotify Free so I can listen it. I didn't like it at first but it gets better when you listen it more. It's a good song. I haven't heard the original so I can't compare.Version 2.0 is my #1 album of probably all time, I'll be there for the tour. Tomorrow they're releasing a Cat Stevens cover; it's already up on YouTube.

It's called Rage and Rapture Tour. I hope it comes to Europe at some point. That new song is really good. I have been listening it a lot.
They're playing just 2 hours away from me. I'll get tickets as soon as they go on sale.
I'm jealous. The song sounds great, can't wait. Tour starts next week in Northern California, I was able to snatch front and center row tickets, then they have a book signing in L.A. which I'm planning on attending to. It's a great time being a Garbage fan.
Yes, I am.I can't get enough of this song, I love the sounds it takes the band. Very excited for things to come. The show in Saratoga was great, I was 2 feet away from the band and the stage wasn't tall. Felt as it was a very intimate show playing in my backyard.
It was my second time meeting them in LA at the book signing, I've met Shirley and the boys in other occasions but separately. It was brief albeit awesome, they recognized me. It was the first time I was able to say something more other than "I love you guys, thank you".
