I'm now more than ever convinced Humanity is doomed. They'll never learn and are destined to repeat the same mistakes time and time again.
Can we stop the narrative? Let you know, NEXT WEEKEND!Good news for this movie. Looks like it's gonna exceed the expectations a lot of us had. People love their dinosaurs. But I do want to see what 2nd weekend drop looks like.
Now, can we stop this "dinosaurs suck and no one cares" meta narrative now? These movies keep making money precisely because people like dinosaurs. Stop making this a plot point. It worked in Jurassic World as there was a message in there about commercialism and such, but we keep doing it several movies later and it needs to stop.
Have you looked around this year? Humanity has done much worse than going to see a harmless mediocre movie.I'm now more than ever convinced Humanity is doomed. They'll never learn and are destined to repeat the same mistakes time and time again.

Rebirth isn't even the worst movie to be a huge hit this year.I mean, this is absolutely true. But Jurassic Eorld Rebirth is hardly the evidence of it, lol! This is like...a fine movie that's meh at worst. Not even close to the worst thing this franchise ever did
Studios will learn from Minecraft and Mario is that they don't have to try too hard to be successful.Rebirth isn't even the worst movie to be a huge hit this year.

Not to mention how people acted in theaters when seeing this. At least here people are just seeing the movie and going about their weekend.Rebirth isn't even the worst movie to be a huge hit this year.

Opening was fine but let’s not act like the returns aren’t still diminishing significantly.

As expected, it’s doing well, but not nearly as well as its predecessors. This will be the first World movie not to hit a billion.

Returns are diminishing regardless of how you look at it. International box office can’t keep a Hollywood franchise afloat alone because a huge chunk of that money doesn’t make it to the studios’ pockets. And the World movies have been on this downward trajectory from the start. That’s not “forcing a narrative,” that’s a cold hard fact. This franchise has maybe one or two movies of profitability left unless they find new life. Because despite the title, “new life,” this one was not. And I say that as someone who prefers this one over the others.I do think trying to compare the FSS of Rebirth to that of the other movies, most which opened in a traditional 3 day weekend, is trying to force a narrative. Its one of those things like where a weekend comes up short of expectations due to various other circumstances, but then rebound afterwards. Its one of the reasons why holiday openings can screw up traditional weekend openings.
Domestic numbers I do agree, were going to take a hit. Though, with the trajectory this weekend, it seems likely that it won't fall too badly from Dominion's domestic, which is a win, lets be honest with where Dominion left things. International is always where it was going to make the bulk of its money. And things are looking pretty rosy on that front. International is also where I believe that the other big July movies will run into problems.

This film is very bad. There are no redeeming qualities. It's lazy and uninspiring.I mean, this is absolutely true. But Jurassic World Rebirth is hardly the evidence of it, lol! This is like...a fine movie that's meh at worst. Not even close to the worst thing this franchise ever did
And, what were they supposed to do, INSTEAD?This film is very bad. There are no redeeming qualities. It's lazy and uninspiring.

It's Called Jurassic World, have a planet of the apes like World in which Dinosaurs have over taken humanity they developed into intelligent creatures. Let's see the Dinos in control around the globe just like Ian Malcolm expressed. And, what were they supposed to do, INSTEAD?
