Gavin Hood, Why Wolverine?

That is possibly the best quote I've read related to this movie. I would love it if they finally showed Wolverine the way he was meant to be, not a glorified punisher (as he is portrayed today) but a fallen Samurai who fights against his violent nature.

Well Gavins quote's have given me confidence we may just get that in this movie. It all depends on Fox really and how much freedom they give him.

If he gets a lot, we could be in for something special which could change the way people think about Wolverine.

The main appeal for an independent filmmaker is that he can finally make a film he wouldn't originally get to make. I love that Gavin, a brilliant filmmaker, will get his chance to show the world what he's made of. The great thing about an independent filmmaker making a movie like this is that he hasn't dealt with a studio. He's still very fresh and can go either way. My total faith is loaded with Gavin and can't wait for the first teaser trailer to appear up online!
