But he still is the perfect Marcus Fenix. AJ was born to play this role.

Look smarta$$ you know he worked with a few bigger names so that's what I was saying and you know it. I was suggesting that he can cast bigger than junk like Dominic Purcell and other big dumb animals.

Gears Of War should be equivalent to Terminator Salvation in terms of tone...
Hell it would be awesome to have Sam Worthington as Marcus... (again!)

If Prince Of Persia can be the next PoTC then this should be the next Terminator...
They could also go a little further and portray the human generals as almost villainous
Gears 2 has a lot of that and it's pretty much the government's fault...

Last line from Gears 2 is Marcus's Dad screaming into a radio, "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"

I don't want bulked up wrestlers. I just want great acting with likeable characters who you can believe in. Wrestlers can't do that.

I certainly believed Ventura was a bad ass in Predator. And Roddy Piper in They Live for that matter. It depends on who it is and what the role is.

He does look like Marcus. But he can't act & I don't want a flop because the lead is some wrestler who can't act.

No to Cena too, in case anyone is thinking of him.

I love Mickey Rourke but he's too old especially since it's gonna be a trilogy. But I wouldn't complain if he were marcus.

The Rock... He looks nothing like Marcus. Oh well. I hope the movie is good. I'll watch it regardless. He's just not a good choice when there are other actors who can play the role & pass for marcus.

I like the Rock but Dominic Purcell actually looks like Marcus and is a pretty good actor. At least for the caliber I hold up for a Gears of War movie actually being good.
