New tv spot ran during the Olympics and it had a new shot and dialogue that wasn't in the celebration trailer.
And sacrifice Han and Leia?!

Considering I only said Chewie and you knew his whole name, you apparently know who he is.Who's Chewbacca?

Today's EW article on Bodhi Rook:
http://www.ew.com/article/2016/08/09/star-wars-rogue-one-riz-ahmed-rebel-pilot-empire-insignia
“The feel of this film is quite rough and ready, and so is the mission and so are the characters, and so is the coming together of the characters,” Ahmed says. ......“This world is more about ‘Grab what you can, and let’s roll.’”
Bodhi Rook isn’t the only member of the team seeking redemption by helping the Rebels steal the Empire’s Death Star plans.
“Everyone in this Star Wars movie has got quite a complex past. They have a lot of baggage and history to it. That’s part of what makes it an interesting, nuanced movie,” Ahmed says. “It’s taking characters with interesting backgrounds, whether it’s warrior monks, or ex-assassins, or long-distance truck drivers, and you’re assembling this pack of misfits.”
Star Wars News Net hearing the new trailer is only 90 seconds long.
The movie isn't a year away anymore. This needs to be a legit trailer. That's plenty!
The first epic FA; Dark v Light trailer was 90s. Leave us wanting more!

With Thursdays upcoming teaser won't they pretty much be three for three with the Force Awakens teaser and trailer releases as of Aug.That first TFA teaser was released 13 months before that film came out. We are 4 months from the release of Rogue One. The time for small cryptic teasers is long gone. We are into full trailer season. Time to start giving the general viewers some concrete details that they can chew on so they can decide whether this story and film is worth seeing in theaters.
For curious comparison trailer timeline dates for Force Awakens.
NOV 28, 2014 - First Teaser Trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens!
APR 16, 2015 - The Force Awakens Teaser Trailer #2
AUG 27, 2015 - The Force Awakens Teaser #3
OCT 19, 2015 - The Force Awakens Trailer!
NOV 08, 2015 - The First Star Wars: The Force Awakens TV Spot!
DEC 14, 2015 - The Force Awakens Premiere

:
The 15 second facebook thing was not a trailer. There is a difference between a teaser and a trailer. This should be there equivalent to the first TFA theatrical trailer as both are debuting with big sporting events. The only difference here is the Olympics are in the summer and football is in the Fall. With Thursdays upcoming teaser won't they pretty much be three for three with the Force Awakens teaser and trailer releases as of Aug.

And that 3rd FA teaser is 15 seconds.
Their big trailer didn't hit till Oct.
And there's been nothing "cryptic" about the R1 teases so far, we know the main story and cast, setting, tone etc..
This petulant I want it all now! mentality is crazy.
You have something coming in two days, at least watch that before crying more!
They have to save stuff to play out these 5 months.
Yeah, I was listing all their teasers and trailers, as comparison. The 15 second facebook thing was not a trailer. There is a difference between a teaser and a trailer.
Get it OCT! Why are you whining now?And that 3rd FA teaser is 15 seconds.

Aren't they pretty much three for three with the Force Awakens teaser and trailer releases by Aug. .

They are debuting a trailer with a sporting event. Just like the did with MNF last year. If they didn't want comparisons, they should have debuted this online. Instead they are setting this up like the MNF trailer, which was the theatrical trailer.Yeah, I was listing all their teasers and trailers, as comparison.
That's why I clearly said -
Get it OCT! Why are you whining now?
I so love the Yavin set!
That we are getting more from it is like a dream.
Like the cameras on the original ANH set suddenly turned and are facing things we hadn't seen before, so beautiful!
You keep blabbing that, so what! It's a good thing they have something for the Olympics, how have you all spun that into a negative? They are still going need the big gun for MNF, if you are going to compare them. They are debuting a trailer with a sporting event. Just like the did with MNF last year.
"It should be their equivalent"? Says who? Oh right the "I want it all now" experts here. This should be there equivalent to the first TFA theatrical trailer as both are debuting with big sporting events. The only difference here is the Olympics are in the summer and football is in the Fall.
Who then are the first to complain, they showed to much, there's nothing new here, I saw it all! I said pretty much three for three, as a general comparison. With Thursday R1 will have three teases out there , as did TFA. And it was a question? Also as Marv has pointed out, you were comparing this to the first TFA teaser,
