They need to get Temuera Morrison back for a Boba Fett film and have him reenact the bar scene from Once Were Warriors.

Awesome! I love the effort they are making to keep the same cast from the prequels for even small cameo roles.

Now, if we can just get a force ghost Ewan in Episode 8 or 9.

*cough*Solofilm*cough*

No to Morrison I really did not care for him, nor the backwards they tried to retcon Boba's original voice.. I'd prefer keep the helmet on, and give him back his old voice. (make some reason to why it's changed).

Cast Edgar Ramirez and let him do his thing. If you can recast Han ****ing Solo, you can recast Boba Fett. Except this wouldn't be a recast because Morrison never played Boba Fett.

He is great in the film. But his Jango never really did much for me outside of the Obi-Wan fight. And at this point the Clones belong to Dee Bradley Baker.

I'm just saying, they should turn Boba into an alcoholic domestic abuser whose life goes to **** :o

Poor Taun We tried her best, but the kid, he just wouldn't get over it.

Edgar Ramírez looks nothing like Morrison though and since boba is in canon a clone of jango you can't do that, so now if you wanted to go for a younger version you would have to find someone who would at least pass as a younger version of him and would also have to attempt abit of an impression of him too.

Thats very unlikely to happen because there is no reason to do that as the "retcon" voice is now official canon, Morrison even did fett for the new battlefront game.

I don't think Morrison is 100% the only way they can go, but I would certainly be very dissapointed if Lucasfilm didn't cast a Maori actor to play Boba.

The reason is because in the OT he had a different voice and they've already retconned it once. That and Lucas telling all his buds that Disney is working on the theatrical cuts for re-release.

And who plays the voice in the game I don't think really matters since in every other piece of canon SW substance so far Battlefront is the only one that does not use James Earl Jones as Vader's voice, but some really cheap actor. Especially since Battlefront is not really "story driven" I think it can easily be overlooked.

Like I said we live in Star Wars where people have robot hands and eyes. You could have a side story in a book have Boba get in some fight with a monster that tears at his throat and he has to get some robotic device to help him speak. The original voice had a little robotic tinge anyways.

Lastly, there are the rumors that the Boba Fett spin-off is not Boba himself but is killed by a stranger and the stranger takes over the costume and identity. So there are many paths to be taken. So they can continue the "Man with no name" motiff that he was originally built on.

What has that got to do with anything though, truth be told disney are not bias and hating on the prequel, i know many would like to believe thats the case but they are clearly not, the prequels are 100% canon and whether or not the special edition is canon or not which it probably is, might have been in the lucas contract agreement or something but its very likely the version thats official canon.

Tell me why they would do that though? why would they decid to make up some weird excuse like that to give him a robotic voice?

Well that would be a way to keep the character alive going in future sequels but i do not see them doing something like that in anything pre Episode 6.

Yet, they still brought in Daniel Logan for Boba Fett.

It has nothing to do with "anti-PT" per se. It's just that originally that is what it is. And Lucas himself told his good friend Landis they are working on that. And I truly think there is no contract of anything, even Lucas admitted last December, that he went cold turkey and they control everything.

The original theatricals should always be canon....because that is originally what they were. Lucas has no control anymore. And that's what angers many is Lucas was too lazy to watch his own original trilogy to try to match things up instead of forcing changes down the line. You could have easily made Morrison be himself but when the helmet is on his voice is the voice we know. Like Vader's helmet changes his voice.

It's those things that spit in Kersh's decisions and what made him iconic that really made no sense to change them in the PT. Why change them? Besides the tired excuse "He's Lucas he can do what he wants."

It's Star Wars use your imagination. Boba is always on dangerous missions, fighting bad guys aliens, creatures. Having him get a wound that has a element that changes to what it original was...in Star Wars.....that's not very far fetched. And for over 20 years that ORIGINALLY was his voice?

And that may be the case, even the canon books Aftermath are hinting towards something. When asked in a recent interview Chuck kind of just smiled and went around it. But who knows.

I want a quality actor that can bring the badassness to Boba Fett that the comics have recaptured. I am done with ineffective, whiny Boba. Morrison has never played Boba on screen. Which means they don't need to worry about it. When casting Han Solo they did not look for a copy physically, but someone who could capture the character. Here, I am looking for someone who can capture the character as he was presented in the OT and the current comics.

Yeah but they also wouldn't have cast Michael B. Jordan to play han solo, whoever they cast needed to be believeable enough to be a young han solo even if he wasn't a direct lookalike to ford, which also is the same for fett, he is meant to be a clone of jango so whoever you cast has to be at least some what believable as that same character in continuity.

Its kinda funny how no one has realised yet how important non-bias canon and continuity will be to this new disneyverse.
