I hope so. As cool as the Skywalker saber is, it doesnt look right in Daisy's hands. Idk if her hands are just small or why it looks odd, but to me that saber has never looked right in her hands. I like the idea of her having and using that saber, but visually I just dont like it.

Im hoping she crafts something a bit more sleek.

Funny, I thought it looked great in her hands in TFA. Especially during the duel and handing it to Luke. It fit her hands well imo. She also held it correctly, which is rare in Star Wars.

You do not hold the middle of a hilt and you don't put your hands over the activation box.

So far it looks like he doesn't have it anymore. It's in a trailer though so I think someone will end up with it in Rebels this season.

I really hope the TV spots limit Vader. I know we have literally seen 6 seconds total, but it gives some context to what he's doing in the film. I am a guy who loves spoilers, but I actually really want to be surprised by Vader.

I hope it's indicative of his small amount of screentime in the movie. I've thought all along he should be like Jaws, so as to not diminish Krennic (too much, some is inevitable) and make when he does appear all the more impactful. I also don't want to see the Emperor at all for the same reason.

Part of a Jedi's training and right of passage is constructing their own saber. She needs to build her own saber. Not co-opt a second one.

Ep VIII could be he worst movie in the franchise, Attack of the Clones on steroids, and I'd still love the holy hell out of it if we get Snoke's origin and a extinction-level event wiping out the theories of his identity.

That definitely sounds like a fair trade off.

I doubt we'll fully know who he is until IX. And even then we might not get much. The Emperor was very much an enigma in the OT. He wasn't even given a name in the screenplays.

I agree we might not get much until IX, but I'd prefer they did give us more detail within the movie himself. Just to clearly separate him from Palpatine's role in the OT. May Rey asking Luke "Who is Snoke and how did he get to your nephew?" and Luke can exposit/Forceback.

EDIT: Cool trailer, but my feelings on the whole thing remain the same. Looks really great, but the characters just haven't popped for me the way the TFA characters did with theirs.

Not revealing/explaining/delving into Snoke means accepting JJ's setup of him being a Palpatine knock-off. Which is not a good idea.

Yeah there was originally backstory on that stuff in VII but it got bumped to VIII. Hopefully most of it stayed in VIII and wasn't bumped further to IX.
