I think this is the first time I've visited the Star Wars forums...Comforts me to grieve over the loss of our Princess with fellow Star Wars fans :(

Really gutted to hear the news about Carrie, she is in a lot of my childhood favourite movies, so, so sad, especially as she was coming back with the new trilogy, RIP.

Besides Star Wars for me The Burbs and Blues Brothers come to mind

So tragic. A true light has gone out... She will be missed dearly.

Oops, made the mistake of going onto Andi Gutierrez's twitter, and I lost it again.

I feel like I have to do something. I think I'm going to go see Rogue One again in support. I will probably tear up at the end this time.

I saw the film this afternoon and came back home only to immediately find out. That was hard.

Just got back from seeing Rogue One again for the second time.

Have to admit I got a bit choked up at the ending...

That final shot of Jyn and Cassian is beautiful. I can't wait until HQ gifs of that are online. :funny:

Just saw R1 for the first time. Couldn't hold back the tears at the end.

Absolutely loved the film

I'm not sure that I want to see this again, to be honest. I know that I will, but watching the final scene is going to be really uncomfortable. More than it was previously. I wished they hadn't shown Leia's face in blatant closeup before and now I really wish they hadn't. :csad:

Does anybody know
who said Leia's line at the end? Was it Carrie? I know it was only one word but I'm curious.

I'm really sad about Fisher. I actually met her a month ago when she did her book signing at Barnes and Noble at the Grove. I was literally the last person she took a picture with before she left. So this is a little weird for me. But she was sweet and gentle and I wish I could have met her again.

I knew the ending was coming after lightly spoiling myself here, but I couldn't help this morning while watching the movie, did my best to hold back tears.

Nothing wrong with tears.
I plan to see Rogue One on Sunday.
I expect to cry like a baby.

That's when I'm seeing it again for the 3rd time. It's going to be much different this time around...

It'so sad that her mother passed away as well...

I just can't imagine what her family is going through at the moment :(

Folks, question for you.

So we now know that Galen Erso was the creator of the Death Star, under the code name [BLACKOUT]Stardust[/BLACKOUT]. However, we see Death Star plans in the prequels, Episode 2 or 3?? I'm just trying to wrap my head around that and if theres any error in that. [BLACKOUT]We do get a flashback w/ Galen in Coruscants orbit. (around the time of the prequels??)[/BLACKOUT]
