Getting into DC?

Ive always been more of a fan of Marvel but lately ive been interested in getting into DC aswell.

I want to try and get the trades first that will be the most important.

I already plan on getting Crisis on Infinite Earths, Infinite Crisis and Final Crisis when its out and Kingdom Come but which others would people recommend, doesnt have to be events etc but any character or team trade thats pretty much necessary reading.

To make it easier, heres what I already have:

Well, yeah but The New Frontier is an Elseworlds tale. Kind of like DC's "What If..." OR it might be one of the 52 parallel Earths that comprise the Multiverse I'm not sure, in any case, It's not how New Earth's (post-Crisis Earth One) JLA formed... That hasn't been elaborated on yet, but as far as i know, they've returned to the original silver age origin.
But until that's fleshed out theres always JLA: year one.... Which has also been retconned by Infinite Crisis... Sound complicated? Welcome to DC, kid!
