Ghost Rider: Movie Reviews

I just came back from the theater. I'm a big fan of the entire Marvel universe. And I've read all the reviews from the movie but I'm a guy that doesn't rely on opinions, and I prefer to watch/hear whatever it is, before make a judgement.

Well... the movie sucked. The villains (villains? come on) sucked. Nicolas Cage and Mendes sucked. The special effects were very good (the only good thing was the riding on the building). He beats the enemies... in 2 seconds of the entire movie. NO action sequence AT ALL. Bad plot, cheesy dialogues.

Damn 100 minutes I'm never gonna get back :S ...unless I make a pact with the devil?? Mmmm... no, I better not. I see what happens :S

General consensus were exactly? Here on the hype, it has more positive reviews than negative.

...i'm glad you like the movie and all but you're not convincing anyone that GR was a critical success.

The general consensus on the internet maybe, but internet users are just a small portion of the movie going public, you hav no idea what people who dont go on Internet message boards thought so you cant say a general consensus is that the movie is disliked.

well for me i cant say its a perfect movie but i really enjoyed it and there were some moments where i said what the hell !

like the " yyeee-haaa " thing lol

but i find it funny when i see the movie again and again

i would give it 7 out of 10

I think I should start a thread called why are non main stream comic books movies (V for Vendetta, 300, Sin City) becoming better than the mainstream ones (X3, GR, Blade Trinity).

I gave it a 3. I use to read the Ghost Rider comics, this move should have been darker and without Cage in the lead role. Out of the Marvel movies this ranks in the bottom 3-4.

I rank it above Elektra, X3, Blade 3 and FF respectively, and on par with The Punisher. But its no were near the cream of the crop.

true...we'll probably never know what people who don't use the net thought about the movie, but i don't know if you come across a forum that represents the general audience's opinion better than myspace.
