Ghost Rider: The Game(s)

This game would have been a reason for me to buy a top system. Well, back to the good old Gameboy, it seems.

Too bad, was looking forward to the potential this game had.

I don't know what's going to happen, but I'd rather see no game at all than a crappy one. There are far too many half-assed games based on popular movies and TV shows.

It's hard to imagine Sony not doing everything in their power to make a solid game of one of their big movies though, especially with the PS3 coming out just three months before it. I can't wait to see the first images of the Spidey 3 game on PS3. An equivalent GR game would make me widdle myself with delight.

I saw a bit on the GR game within the past few months of G4. They seemed like they were already deep into the planning stage and they had quite a crew assembled. I doubt they'd just completely can the project. Someone will pick it up. Like Red said, it's inevitable.

Indeed. The image of Ghost Rider is too good to not use it in everything possible. Besides, good or bad, the game will still kickass.

Ultimate Marvel Game in the Works

Last year, Marvel Entertainment signed video game licensing agreements with different publishers, granting Microsoft the exclusive rights to develop MMO games featuring Marvel's heroes and extending the exclusive worldwide publishing rights to Activision though 2017.

Later this year, the X-Men: The Last Stand official game will launch on current generation consoles and Xbox 360 and you can also expect a game based on the forthcoming Spider-Man 3 feature film to launch along the move next year. But it seems that more Marvel games are in the works.

The latest issue of Game Informer has revealed Activision’s plans to release Ultimate Marvel: Alliance, an action game for current and next-generation consoles set in the Ultimate Marvel universe with C.B. Cebulski, now a freelance writer, penning the story for the game.

GI informs that the game will feature more than twenty playable characters including Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America, Thor, Elektra, Ghost Rider and Silver Surfer.

We’ll have more on Ultimate Marvel: Alliance as it develops.

just hope the PS3 wont be too expensive...heard the starting price is gonna be at least $600.00 bucks because of the Blue-Ray drive.

I just got new issue of Gameinformer. It has a big spread on the Marvel alliance game. It has quite a few pics of Ghost Rider in action. He looks kinda....different. They messed up the skull a little bit. It's still going to rule playing as ghost rider.
