NEWS! a friend of mine videogame news addicted just emailed me that on day may 9 the Ghost Rider game will be presented at the Take 2 stand...but he didn't said of what event...probably E3! so today we should have some info...)

speaking of gaming...just read some info concernig PS3...
wanted to add it here since it looks like both games involving GR will also be available on the PS3..
"The PS3 will be arranged in two separate system configurations: a 20 and a 60 gigabyte hard drive system. North America, Europe and Australasia will see the system six days later on November 17th. The price? $499 dollars or 499 Euros for the 20 gig version, and $599 dollars or 599 Euros for the 60 gig version."

looks like the 600 price range was right...for the upgraded 60 gig version.
500.00 for the 20 gig....100 bucks for 40 gigs. ..sheesh...that system better be worth it.

My friend has xbox 360, (and xbox, where we are actually playing X-men legends II : colossus rocks!, even if that punk doesn't want to give me Sunfire sigh) so i think i'll play both on that platform.

My friend just downloaded on his xbox360 the video of Marvel ultimate alliance
It is an exclusive, it should go online on gametrailers tomorrow.
No sign of GR...yet. still a news.

*Video playing* now he just said he is seeing GR, he says he's ugly (e doesn't like GR anyways, so it should be good) and HE ALSO THROWS FIREBALLS.(i asked him confirm twice on this..)
It seems he will have powers of both GR, yay!

It's out!!!!! On www.gametrailers.com the hd video on Marvel Ultimate Alliance is out!!! Ghost Rider is IN!!!!! I did see 3 moves of him for now:
1 he swirls the chain (pretty massive model i think, maybe it has a spiked ball at the end) in a circle pretty wide around him
2 he goes in a "pushing/star wars force pushing" stance (similar to GR1 firethrowing pose, i think) with a wave of hellfire coming from his hands, not exactly a fireball, yet a quite powerful move, able to engulf several enemies/objects at once. he does this maybe 3 times on the video.
3 a supernova like multidirectional attack, similar to sunfire's supernova. GR shoots his arms in the air and his head back, while a circular wave of fire shoots from his body.

And he is truly badass when he walks out of the shadows among the other heroes because he lits up the flames while coming out
Now i rewatch the video again.
and again.
and again.

yes, at the end of the chain there is the usual metal cilinder, but it's bigger, black and with 4 spikes around!!! ouch!
Overall i like his look, the reddish skull seems a problem only in the intro.
In the game it seems more a contrast coloro for the flames, who have very good fx. He doesn't seems a tank(hand to hand combat character able to sustain great amount of damage, like wolverine, or quite probably the thing) he seems more of a ranged support character, like sunfire, but slower, maybe he is more of a booster of has some special tricks in hand to hand combat(penance stare throw anyone?)

You know, he's a bit "tight" on his costume, but that is only ONE costume...normalli there are at least 3. But since he's one of the core characters probably he will have up to 5 costumes...maybe one will be GR2, one GR1...that's definitely the movie costume i think.

Did I not post here yet? Sheesh, what's wrong with me? I guess I was so excited about the game and seeing the images, I couldn't even talk about it.

I really can't wait to finally be able to play Ghsot Rider in a game. ITs' going to be a special moment for me. I'm sure we'll all shed a tear together... and then brutally beat some baddies. Yee haw!

Just thought I'd let you know, gamespy has a preview for the Ghost Rider game that you can check out here. Theres no screenshots of it yet, which I find kind of odd.
