^ Look, anybody would gladly play a ****ing prop even, if it ment they got to be in the next batman flick! (I know I would)

I'd love to see him as Penguin.

I seriously doubt that. Some of you(but not most of you) need to understand that not every person in the world is a die-hard Batman fan.

I've thought he should be The Penguin for a long time.
Better choice than Phillip Seymour Hoffman, in my opinion.

hoffman always seemed like the ideal choice for the role, but giamatti would be quite fantastic as well.

Great. Now Nolan won't cast him.

But most celebrities would give their right nut/ovary to be in a multi-billion dollar superhero franchise, partly because they see it as a fun role and mostly because it means big $$$ for them. Ask ten actors, nine out of them would probably give an answer similar to Paul Giamatti's (and every other actor that's ever been asked about a Batman role in an interview. Seriously, there have already been like four women who say they'd love to play Catwoman.)

Would be amazing, but it wont happen.

Giamatti would actually be an inspired choice. i've thought of him as the Penguin, MadHatter and Toyman.

hope he gets a fair shot in Nolan's film. he's a pretty good actor and can easily disappear in roles that he plays. something that Nolan will be quite interested in casting.

The only actors that has how expensive the movie is as a factor are either 1) actors that need to get their big brake and need the money or 2) media-****es. Real actors dont make a movie because its expensive or because it will make much money. Thats a stupid reason to take a role.

QFT!

WOOO, i've always said Paul would make an awesome Penguin. Just watch "Shoot Em Up". All that character needs is a tux and it's perfect

Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Giamatti and Bob Hoskins are exelent choices

Jesus, the comments on the MTV page had me repeat-facepalming.

Giamatti is an ok actor, not typically great in Dramatic roles (see Cinderella Man)

...

It's not about being a Batman fan, but being an actor wanting a great chance of bigger recognition and cash. And that covers 99.9% of actors around the world.

What kind of doofus would write such a thing????????

Giamatti would be amazing in thee role, as would other folks. He was outstanding as John Adams.
