Back on Quinn and Sam.

Least favorite couple on the show. Talk about a couple based on using one another. Every major scene between them the words ''popular" come up. They want to become popular/popular again, there's no real basis of love/feelings in their relationship. So I can't buy them.

Agreed wholeheartedly. I think they'd be far more interesting with other people.

Quinn can also drop the 'tude. I would appreciate that. :o

I think what they have between them are real feelings. It may have started with the whole popularity thing but I think they genuinely like each other now. They're better than Rachel and Finn droning on about being a power couple and wanting solos and crap.

that's their reasons for dating and i think they're hiding behind that instead of admitting they actually really like each other

I wouldnt be the least surprised if they have Santana/Finn become a couple. It seems like they have been trying to foreshadow it these last 3 episodes besides the whole sex thing.

That seems to be the way they're going, but honestly, I cant see her not get bored of him within, like, two episodes of dating.

Rachel's one of my favorite characters. Of course, it helps that everyone's verbally beating up on her all the time so she constantly has my sympathy.

I just find it interesting that Mr. Shue has no problem with Santana and Quinn repeatedly using slurs on her religion, ethnicity, appearance and height, and talk about wanting to commit acts of violence on her out loud in the middle of class, but only when SHE walks in with duct tape over her mouth in protest over a solo does someone deserve Shue's very over-the-top outburst of rage. In front of the whole class. Sure, she was being a brat, but it's not like she was the only one who voiced a problem with those guys getting the solos at Sectionals, and it's not like she needed that extra humiliation. Come on writers, it's not like it's ONLY gay boys who kill themselves over having to deal with this kind of stuff on a daily basis.

Rachel may be far too competitive, but she isn't maliciously mean to anyone, yet just about everyone in that club is constantly malicious to her. Including Kurt, which is why I had to laugh at his line about how SHE couldn't be nice to HIM back when he was at McKinley. Were we watching the same show, Kurt?

So I guess since Rachel is everyone's punching bag on this show, including the writers, it's kind of impossible for me to hate her. And sorry guys, but Quinn and Santana can die in a fire for all I care. Sam too, just for committing the ultimate crime of boring me to tears. He and Quinn as a couple seem to form a super black hole of charisma that literally makes me zone out whenever they're on screen.

i kinda feel like there might be some back story between the santana/rachel feud.

maybe its just wishful thinking?

edit: besides the santana/finn sexcapade

Yeah, I think you may be giving the writers too much credit on that one. Santana's the popular cheerleader, and Rachel's the annoying drama geek. I don't think there's more backstory to it than that. I'd be happy to be wrong, though.

Nor can I see him fully caring for her like he did for Rachel. They both used each other in the past, and the only times there has been talk of them getting back together is to use themselves again to get higher in the high school popularity pyramid.

it just feels like they've given santana too many subtle hints at some humanity for there not to be a reason she's so hateful sometimes, especially to rachel.

That really pissed me off. Santana's a cruel ***** and Quinn's a self-righteous, holier than thou brat. And yet Schue continually does absolutely nothing when they act like complete ***holes, but God forbid Rachel comes in with tape over her mouth and criticizes Will's teaching. Then, and only then, he reigns down the wrath of God upon her. I actually think he owes her an apology to be perfectly honest... the only ones who actually treated her with a lick of respect this week were, surprisingly, Kurt and Puck.

This last episode just seemed like Satana was being extra rude to her because she was jealous of her relationship with Finn. Rachel pointed out that Santana had been riding her coat-tales since the wedding, and now that Finchel is over, Santana probably wont have much to say to Rachel.

And is Shue in the room that often when Santana goes off on Rachel?

Agreed. Though I think I like Kurt more now that he isn't so lonely/victim of a bully.

He's still finding a reason as his new school. "They don't appreciate my individuality." If he's not *****ing that he's getting made fun of for being an outcast, he's *****ing because he fits in. *****, *****, *****, its all the character does. Plus his superiority complex and whineyness makes him very unlikable, IMO.

Keep in mind, this show isn't great about consistency and realism, which is why I don't like its descent into My So Called Life pathos since its debut. I mean, Will has witnessed Kurt actually being assaulted, and does nothing. Santana actually uses offensive language against anybody under the sun, as was pointed out by others, but he does nothing (if this was a real school, and the lonely male teacher showed such favoritism to the scantily clad ****ty barely legal cheerleaders, then we'd all know what's up with that).

This show veers between realism and absurdism whenever it wants to, that's why analyzing the behaviour of any of the adult characters is a futile exercise.

Quinn/Puck

Sam/Mercedes.

Agreed. But, I'm finding Quinn kind of intolerable lately, so hold that off until the end of their run. I dont want her dragging Puck down week-in, week-out.

Quinn is only dragged down now cause she's trying to suppress all her development by dating Sam.

Why, exactly?
Because Sam/Kurt isn't happening anytime soon or at all.

Mercedes needs love and I'd rather her find it with someone who isn't a stereotypical choice for her. Sam has potential body issues as seen in Rocky Horror and we know that Mercedes does as well, they could bond over these issues and begin to date/better one another.

From Corey Monteith's "controversial" photo shoot, Finn should be the one with body issues. He and Mercedes should be a couple and eat Breadsticks out of business.

As long as she drops the uppity, self righteous attitude she's had since becoming a cheerio again.

That's really only been with Santana and Rachel though and she's always been that way to Rachel, even when she wasn't a cheerio in the second half of the first season.

Basically this show needs Mama Menzel to come back. She's straighten out a **** ton of stuff. Quinn, Rachel, Puck.

they've had a couple of good moments between them. particularly when quinn tried to entice finn early in the season to see if he would leave rachel and come back to her. quinn didn't have to do that, especially for someone like rachel. but she did

And she should bring Taye Diggs with her.
