Forgot to do this last night, but for my fellow Conan fans:

STAAAAAAAMOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSS!

He's still finding a reason as his new school. "They don't appreciate my individuality." If he's not *****ing that he's getting made fun of for being an outcast, he's *****ing because he fits in. *****, *****, *****, its all the character does. Plus his superiority complex and whineyness makes him very unlikable, IMO.

Yeah that did annoy me a bit. The guys there were being incredibly nice to him and even let him audition (probably because of his enthusiasm and Blaine may have given a good word about him). I honestly don't know why people love him and Rachel so much. They are probably the two most annoying characters on the show.

When did he ever ***** about Dalton? I swear Matt always twists everything to make Kurt look bad.

And are you seriously reducing the bullying storyline to Kurt "*****ing that he's getting made fun of for being an outcast". I mean, really?

He ***** that he wasn't getting any solos and had to sing background.

When? Please, enlighten me with quotes/clips.

he did toward dalton... he complained and didnt understand the rules of dalton. he expected to waltz in and get solos, it was kinda arrogant. but not out of character for kurt.

if anything, dalton's going to teach him to grow up a bit

Except there was no *****ing involved. Or is it because he happens to be gay? So, sharing concerns/feelings = "*****ing"

Though I still don't see where it was shown that he expected to "walk in and get solos". They offered him a chance to audition, and he did? Then after he auditions Blaine made it seem like Kurt did something wrong. He basically said "Don't try so hard, it's not all about you" and I'm trying to figure out at what point in his audition did he make it seem like it was all about him? When he lifted his arm?

In the beginning of the episode he walked in there suggesting ideas like he owns the place.

And it's definitely not because he's gay. Everyone has been ***** this season. Rachel about not getting a solo and about Finn. Mercedes about Kurt not being a good friend, not getting a part in the show, and freaking tater tots, hell Will even called out the club about their ***** this season even though he has been ***** as well.

dude im gay... i can tell when a guy is still complaining or not. stop harping on it using the gay thing... he marched right into the room and acted like he could do whatever he wants. and then complained that he couldnt to blaine and some to rachel. I'm talking at first... yes he got shot down and had to do auditions.. the whole point of that aspect to be written was to take kurts attitude down a notch. He's not the star, and needed to stop acting like he needed to be or tried to be.

kurt did do something wrong.. maybe you associate with kurt and don't see the whole diva he is at times. but blaine was right... its not all about kurt. its about the team. and kurt marched in first day of warblers.. and told what HE wanted to do.

LOL. Suggestions are NOT permitted! Shame on you, Kurt!

So far the only time I've felt he was in the wrong this season was in the Grilled Cheesus episode.

The show got two Grammy nominations:

"Don't Stop Believing 2.0" for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals - amusingly, nominated against two other songs the show has also covered ("Hey Soul Sister" and "The Only Exception")

Glee, The Music - Volume 1 - Best Compilation Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media

I think it was more how he basically tried to call the shots in such a brash manner when he hadn't even been there 5 minutes, usually you integrate yourself into a team before trying to take the lead in deciding the direction they should go.

 But by all means JP, keep playing the "Its because he's gay," card. If it were Rachel or Finn who did it I'd say the same thing. All the Kurt character does is whine. Some of it is justified. Some of it isn't. But its reached the point where its basically all that the character does. He talks down towards people and whines. That's it. That is literally all that the character has become. Its ****** writing. But I'm sure ****** writing has nothing to do with it. "It is because he's gay," right?

Quinn/Puck all the way. I could care less about annoying Sam and his ugly haircut :o
As for Rachel, I love her she was the first character I really liked on the show. Also how awesome was Puck for backing down from Rachel because of his friendship with Finn. Finn/Puck bromance!

It is rather odd that the two characters Matt's always bashing has a gay connection. Rachel is the product of two gay dads, and Kurt well, duh.

Well they have made both characters kinda unlikeable and it has nothing to do with gay. Kurt has been a bully, especially to Rachel, which is why I'm rather annoyed with his whole bully storyline. He needed to stand up for himself and not runaway IMO. Rachel is self centered and annoying but strangely the writers usually let her see the errors of her ways and redeem herself at some point. It's one of the reasons I still love Rachel. Kurt on the other never feels like he did anything wrong most of the time.

Anyway I feel Glee needs more well, glee. I hope they pick it up and add some joy because the heavy handed story lines are getting a little soap opera. First season they tackled issues but added a wink and a nod so as not to feel like it was being overly shoved in your face.

Oh and I love Brittany and Artie together! Magic comb lol.

:whatever: Or it could be because both characters are written atrociously and made to be snobbish and diva-like, both of which are incredibly unlikable traits. I don't like Mercedes either for the same reason or Quinn when she acted like that. Is it because I'm racist against both black people and white people?

I like Sue, Puck, and Santana despite their outrageous behavior because at least its funny. Kurt, Rachel, Mercedes, and formerly Quinn are complete asses who lack the redeeming quality of making me laugh and being as I flick channels during the songs usually (unless its something I like, but most of the song choices aren't my cup of tea), their ability to sing doesn't redeem them in my eyes. That is why I dislike them.

Great post. IMO, the most likable characters on the show are Artie (save the time they made him be an ass to Tina for no reason other than to set up the Madonna episode), Brittany, Finn, Sam, and occassionally Will. The rest of the characters are just unlikable. Some are funny enough that despite being unlikable they are endearing for it, but in Rachel, Kurt, and Mercedes' case, they aren't.

All of the character are "unlikable".

As you said, Kurt/Rachel/Mercedes are divas. Quinn/Santana are outright nasty. Artie is a male chauvinist who constantly objectifies the girls (all off screen, at that). Sue is a bully. Will is a terrible teacher who buries his students in his personal problems. Emma led Ken Tanaka on. Puck is a jerk. Brittany is a ****. Finn is an idiot when he chooses to be.

They're all awful people at the end of the day.

BINGO.

The only people so far that aren't truly awful are Beiste, Burt, Carole, and Mike. Possibly Tina, but even she faked a stutter/disability for years.

And half of those we barely know! If you can't handle heavily flawed people, I suggest you stop watching the show or any Ryan Murphy show's, cause that's sort of his thing.

I wouldn't say they were all awful. Insecure definitely, which makes some of them act awfully toward each other, but that's highschool for you. Most of them have their redeeming moments here and there, hell we've even seen that Sue has a heart!

They all are still flawed is the point. It's very realistic. Everyone is flawed. Everyone has unlikeable qualities about them, but it's their redeeming qualities that make them truly great. Sue's heart for her sister. Kurt's love of his father. Rachel's ability to correct her own mistakes. Mercedes despite being a diva possibly has the biggest heart in the club, she took in Quinn when she needed a home, she's always been great to Kurt. Will when he listens is an amazing teacher.

The list goes on.

I absolutely agree. The big difference is that this season has been centered around Kurt and his storyline and he hasn't really had a single redeeming moment yet this season. It would have been so easy for the writers to have had him reflect and apologize to Rachel when the two of them had their moment at the counter. But instead it was more about poor Kurt maybe made the wrong decision.

There's a difference between being flawed and being a jerk though.

Eh. Rachel and Kurt aren't jerks though. Kurt and Rachel have set aside their differences in the past. The scene at sectionals and the budding friendship between them shows that.

Quinn and Santana yes. Big old *****y jerks. Will is even a jerk 80 percent of the time.
