He sounds pretty natural in that one to me (very similar to "Jessie's Girl", one of his other best song performances).Proof that Finn is autotuned beyond belief can be found no further than the two versions of DSB. There's a really really deep sounding part when the second version of DSB begins that you can just tell it's not Corey singing.
Kevin McHale (Artie) is probably the best of the kids (Matthew Morrison is obviously the best overall male singer); he was in a band for a while before the show (also why he's such a great dancer, not that he gets to do that much, obviously). The only boy that can really sing is probably Chris. I havent really heard anything from any other male that really stands out other than him
And my problem is that they write the show as if Finn has such a voice.Yeah, I'm not really a fan of any of the regular boys' voices. They all have their moments, but none of them are standouts, imo. I miss Groff, though, as I do love his voice and wish they'd given him some Broadway stuff to do because that's what he excels at, imo. But he's just a guest star, anyway, so oh well.
I feel like the boys need "their Lea" - the one who can belt both showtunes and pop music with equal aplomb and turn heads with the power of their voice. They just don't have anyone remotely like that. But then I guess that's why they keep emphasizing that the club "needs" Rachel. Still, it would be nice to see a male vocal equivalent.
Yeah, that's always bothered me, too. I mean, they do write the character as lacking in vocal training, but they also write him as having such a naturally great voice that he has the potential to be the male vocal equivalent to Rachel some day, which...he doesn't. At all.And my problem is that they write the show as if Finn has such a voice.
It would be cool if Mike got a solo this season, preferably a Michael Jackson song so he could show off some dance moves at the same time.
Stamos looks like a mixture of Jack and Richard from Lost in that picture.
