^that song was covered in the pilot. remember tina's audition?

Yeah I remembered that after I posted. Still, it wasn't really a full-on performance so they still might. That's if that sequence is even musical.

Proof that Finn is autotuned beyond belief can be found no further than the two versions of DSB. There's a really really deep sounding part when the second version of DSB begins that you can just tell it's not Corey singing.

I wonder how long we have before the first singles are released...

He sounds pretty natural in that one to me (very similar to "Jessie's Girl", one of his other best song performances).

My fav finn song is I'll stand by you but thats just me

You can tell Corey's breaking his voice singing Don't Stop because his singing suddenly gets very very deep when he says midnight train in the second DSB.

I'm not gonna knock the guy totally I enjoyed some of his songs, but he's definitely the weakest singer on the show. I get the guy acts his role well, but it couldn't be that hard for them to have found someone who could act the role and not need so much auto tune to assist him in his singing department.

The only boy that can really sing is probably Chris. I havent really heard anything from any other male that really stands out other than him

Puck and Artie are better than Chris singing wise to me, but then again I'm not big on Chris because a majority of the time they have him sing in his low singing voice, but when he sings more like he did in 4 Minutes and Bad Romance, I enjoy it.

Which Puck song is good?

And I like Chris' Defying Gravity, that was the one that really got me. Not the one in the show where he does it negatively, but the one on the album which is awesome

Puck's Sweet Caroline was definitely the turning point for his character for me. It was what made me take notice of him finally.

Artie is the best male of the kids. Maybe Puck second, then Kurt.

It would be cool if Mike got a solo this season, preferably a Michael Jackson song so he could show off some dance moves at the same time.

Kevin McHale (Artie) is probably the best of the kids (Matthew Morrison is obviously the best overall male singer); he was in a band for a while before the show (also why he's such a great dancer, not that he gets to do that much, obviously).

In other news, TV Guide reveals who the students having the anesthesia fantasies in Britney/Brittany will be. Both Brit and Santana singing = hotness.:awesome:

Yeah, I'm not really a fan of any of the regular boys' voices. They all have their moments, but none of them are standouts, imo. I miss Groff, though, as I do love his voice and wish they'd given him some Broadway stuff to do because I think that's what he excels at. But he's just a guest star, anyway, so oh well.

I feel like the boys need "their Lea" - the one who can belt both showtunes and pop music with equal aplomb and turn heads with the power of their voice. They just don't have anyone remotely like that. But then I guess that's why they keep emphasizing that the club "needs" Rachel. Still, it would be nice to see a male vocal equivalent.

Groff's "Another One Bites the Dust" blew my mind.

And my problem is that they write the show as if Finn has such a voice.

Yeah, that's always bothered me, too. I mean, they do write the character as lacking in vocal training, but they also write him as having such a naturally great voice that he has the potential to be the male vocal equivalent to Rachel some day, which...he doesn't. At all.

That's assuming he can sing (I know, I know...autotune to the rescue)

Please let him sing Dentist from Little Shop.

Stamos looks like a mixture of Jack and Richard from Lost in that picture.
