The more that I think about it, the more I think I'd be okay with Schuester singing "**** You" by Cee Lo.

I was listening to some of my music last night... and still would really love for glee to take on a few songs...

Iris- goo goo dolls
black balloon - goo goo dolls
broken - lifehouse
firework - katy perry
mr brightside - killers
please don't leave me - p!nk
wonderwall - oasis

They'd probably get Finn to butcher Iris.

A Queen episode still must be done. It's not even a negotion, it HAS to be done.

You ****in' hear me, Murphy?!
:cmad:

I think I know how Ryan Murphy thinks. We'll see an entire episode devoted to Kesha, then Katey Perry, then an all-Cascada episode. Then, if he gets around to it, they'll go for flash in the pan acts like Queen, the Rolling Stones and Michael Jackson.

Call me crazy, but I'd actually like to see someone (most likely Schue) sing "Numb" by Linkin Park. I think he could make it work.

Sue Sylvester was in the same position that Spike from Buffy quickly found himself in: she was too popular to remain a villain. I think the show's creators might have fully intended to keep Sue a bad guy at first, based off the first half of Season 1. But after the huge fan response Sue received, you could see a marked change in her portrayal when they came back after the break for the rest of the season. She was getting involved in more songs, getting portrayed sympathetically more often. She is simply too well-liked by the fanbase to be an effective antagonist anymore.

Which is why I expect in Season 2 we'll see Sue and Will/the Glee Club forced to unite against a greater threat.
The creators have said that they're planning for Sue to be meaner than ever this season, for what it's worth. But clearly with the new coach it's being redirected a bit (though I'm sure she'll still be extremely unpleasant to Will and the Glee kids).

I'm calling it right now, this song will make an appearance at some point this season...
[YT]LjhCEhWiKXk[/YT]I'll be floored if it doesn't.

i'm sure they'll have room for it in the midst of all their covers of 80s pop hits.

She is suppose to be getting an R&B boyfriend later in the season, unless that was dropped, I can see it.

LOL an "R&B Boyfriend".

Also, at the MTV awards last night. Amber Riley has nice legs. What was with the ugly Cheerios pants?

Call me crazy, but I thought both the Gaga and Madonna episodes were weak (that's right). Perhaps instead of selecting one artist whose music to build narratives around, they should instead build narratives and then select the music based on what fits the narrative. Otherwise, the episodes just come off as gimmicky.

Yes, and that's why most jukebox musicals are awful.

i think its over now.they got this big way to fast and the hype is insane huge.

they should writte and let the audience folow the glee story.but now they are writting episodes that will give them the biggest positive feedback in that week.

yes i am aware that tv shows like movies are made for money. but the story needs to be made for artistic reasons and not just for the hype.

what do i mean? glee will have humor so i will watch it. but i in no way do i expect any special character development that would challenge the audience.

The Gaga episode (which could just as easily be the KISS episode; they each had two songs) wasn't built around her songs; the girls perform "Bad Romance" as a project (which, you could say, relates to the whole Kurt's crush debacle, but that's really it), and Rachel and her mom do "Poker Face" (which does relate a bit to their situation, though in other respects it's very creepy).

The Madonna one is a bit more about Madonna (and is all-Madonna music), but I thought they were integrated well, for the most part ("Like A Virgin" is one of the show's best).

I want South Park to do Glee. The girls at School start singing again & then the main four think that High School Musical regained its popularity but nope everyone in South Park but the main four are singing Glee songs. The South Park High School Music Episode sucked aside from the boys reactions to everything

Given that, as you say, they already did the "school musical" parody, I'm not sure what a parody of Glee would have to add.
