Pff, you raised your eyebrow in excitement.

Should they ever do an episode where Quinn still has lingering feelings about the daughter she gave up, I want to hear her sing "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns N' Roses. I feel like that would be a good fit.

If Menzel would bring her ass back already we'd see Quinn where she fricking needs to be, missing her kid, being independent and finally dealing with the fact Puck told her he loved her. :cmad:

You mean instead of being involved in that little Aryan lovefest with Sam?

Meh.

I'm still praying Sam is either gay or some secret form of sick bastard who murders puppies and they split up when they come back from break, because I am not feeling those two together in the slightest.

I keep praying they don't drop the fact he has some form of secret. I don't care what it is anymore just as long at it's brought up and Barbie and Ken blow up because of it.

I bet next year we will be seeing "Graduation" by Vitamin C when they graduate.

I had to sing that with my graduating class (and this not in a high school glee club, this was when we were leaving elementary school), so...I hope not. I don't love that song. I actually think it's a bit of a shame that they used "To Sir with Love" in the season 1 finale, because that would have been the perfect song for this cast (or most of it) to sing as a goodbye.

some spoilers for the super bowl ep (if you're interested):

[BLACKOUT]For spoiler-lovers, here you go!

Katy Perry - "California Gurls," performed by Brittany, Santana, Quinn, and the Cheerios
Lady Antebellum - "Need You Now," performed by Puck and Rachel
Michael Jackson/Yeah Yeah Yeahs - "Thriller"/"Heads Will Roll" (mashup), performed by New Directions (minus Quinn, Birttany, and Santana, who are away at a Cheerios competition) during halftime in a McKinley High football game
Destiny's Child - "Bills, Bills, Bills," performed by Blaine, Kurt, and the Dalton Academy Warblers
Another song that might make it into the eppy is "Meet Me Halfway" by The Black Eyed Peas

As if that wasn't enough, here's a roundup of more episode-related teasers:

- The episode will feature two new football player characters, Scott Cooper and Strando (played by Kody Batchelor), as well as a cameo by Katie Couric, who interviews Sue Sylvester for the "Biggest Loser of the Year" award. (Sue assumes she's received "Most Fascinating Person of the Year" honors, but that accolade goes to Barbara Walters instead.)
- Sue will attempt to lure Brittany into a cannon.
- Finn and Rachel do not reunite... at least not in this episode.
- McKinley High comes down with a serious case of Super Bowl fever due to the Cheerleading Regionals.
- Kurt and Karofsky will have another showdown.
- Coach Beiste recruits Rachel, Tina, and Mercedes for the football team, and she also forces the team to join glee.[/BLACKOUT]

you had a graduation...for elementary school?

I wouldnt have minded if we got a full episode dedicated to Cheer competitions. If only to see Mickey and Hollaback Girl featured.

That would be so very cool, especially if they could get Toni to guest star (she's actually an actress, she plays one of the hookers in New Orleans at the end of Easy Rider).

New episode comes on after the Superbowl. And I didnt have a graduation in elementary school.

We had ceremonies for elementary (grade six), junior high (grade nine), and senior high (grade twelve).

are you in the US? I know differnet country school systems have different customs. I had an elementary graduation at 8th grade. Most students have one from the transition from elementary to high school

If they did get her, I'd like to see her as either a rival cheer-leading coach or one of the few people that Sue actually looked up to as a former coach who inspired Sue or something similar.

Isn't Toni pretty much retired? She's 67 years old, depending on how she feels I doubt she'd be on Glee. It'd be pretty great to see her though, even in a bit of a cameo.

I just want the Cheerios or a rival of theirs to do Mickey.

I had an 8th grade (my school was pre-k - 8th) and HS graduation
I believe we performed Hero by Mariah Carey at our 8th grade graduation.
And that mash-up for the Super Bowl ep could be either epic, or a total disaster.

Also there's some reports Gwyneth's return is in the Superbowl Episode, but I believe Gwyneth herself said she wouldn't be back on the Glee set for filming til January. The Superbowl Episode is already finished filming.
