Screen Name: Cyrusbales
Character you have created (include known alias or nicknames here as well): Kamahl, Dragon-slayer, Scale-wearer, Sky-cutter, Wingless warrior and many other dragon removal based names.
Race/Culture: Human. The last living member(to his knowledge) of a Germanium tribe of Dragon hunters. They were quite a reclusive band, travelling across Europe and Asia in search of, youve guessed it, Dragons. Due to the tribes nature, they are quite strong and independent, not really sociable creatures. However since the culture has been dead for a decade or so, he does differ slightly from the typical tribe member.
Racial Traits (traits specific to your race; a list can be found in the second post of the OOC thread) (For races not listed, GMs must create traits for that race first before player approval): Human, pretty obvious.
Character Class (Somewhat similar to the classes in the CAH RPG, but with some differences) (Choose One): Fighter.
Magic (if your character is a Mystic, choose from the following schools of magic to specialize in. NOTE: A player will only be able to cast spells that deal with their schools, forsaking all others, so choose carefully. A mystic gets 4 points to spend in deciding their skill level in magic: 1 point equals minor skills in the chosen school, 2 points equal moderate skill, and 4 equals mastery in the school of choice. Paladins receive 1 point, and it must go towards Protection; Spellswords get only 1 point, and can choose any school to specialize in; Minstrels get 2 points and at least one must go towards Enchantment) (Descriptions of the schools and the point system can be found in a reserved post in the OOC Thread): NO MAGIC.
Speech Color and/or Font (actually say what you're using, i.e. Arial Black; don't go "Like this", or what not): BOLD DARK RED
Character Alignment (Good/Evil/Neutral): Neutral, although he hates dragons.
Character Personality (Give information on how your character acts, what he/she believes in, how they handle situations): Highly intelligent and aware of cultures etc and how to handle people if necessary, but generally preferring to be the strong and silent type. Puts survival of the fittest as a top priority and cares about himself and no others. A small level of charisma is there if necessary, but hell gladly help people, for the right price. He despises knights and paladins, people who think they have some great nature or purpose.
Origin Info/Details (don't be blunt, be as thorough as possible): Brought up in Germany for the first years, his clan travelled around Europe and Asia. Hunting dragons from a very early age, he quickly progressed, excelling in bringing down the huge scaled beasts. The clan instils the idea of working alone and being independent, not building family values, but independent strength, thus resulting in self obsession for career and self preservation, survival of the fittest. One of the few in the tribe who could take them down single handed since his late teens. In Korea, they came across a threat that managed to rip its way through most of the tribe. Eventually, the beast was overcame, but the clan was reduced to only a handful, just less than half of the orignal amount.
Travelling back across Europe continuing the hunt, he became more enveloped by it, becoming more capable with each hunt. By his mid-twenties he was one of four, but far superior to the others in ability. The other three tried to take on a beast in England, yet failed miserably, being devoured. However, the last dragon hunter of the tribe made light work of him. His entire life shaped around felling these creatures.
Travelling across the world, he had virtually no human contact of any note. Learning many languages to help him locate other dragons, hes now about 30 and searching the world for more of these foul creatures.
Attributes (Select one from each category) (some races are greater or weaker than a human in specific categories and will be noted below or in the racial traits section of the OOC thread):
Strength Level: Peak
Speed/Reaction Timing Level: Peak Human
Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort/Durability: Peak Human
Agility: Peak Human
Intelligence: Super-Genius in terms of strategy and tactics etc, and tracking methods etc, but slightly above average in most other respects etc.
Fighting Skill: Mastered in felling dragons etc, and thus other big creatures. His ability against humanoids is not mastered, as he rarely fights against them, not knowing any martial arts etc.
Resources: Average- he does have great armour and weapons, but in terms of drawing from other people or alliances or anything, he has none.
Notable Equipment:
Scalemail of winged beasts- a lightweight armour made from many dragons scales, providing protection from almost all types of dragon-breath, and obviously fire etc. Due to its source, it is also very tough and almost impenetrable.
Fangblade- Carved from a fang from the toughest dragon he has ever encountered. Its a short sword sized weapon and it extremely sharp and durable.
Veinseeker- A short sword sized blade, magically enchanted to remain ever sharp and able to penetrate anything. It acts as an anticoagulant against dragons, accelerating their bleeding.
Robe of hunting- A robe that magically limits a dragons perception, distorting the image of the wearer to dragons.
Dragonblood- The blood from dragons, providing accelerated healing and endurance, peaking the abilities of the drinker for a limited time. Lethal to most who ingest it, the tribe has evolved into being able to digest it and intake the bonus. The constant use of this for decades has left his overall traits heightened, but he does now thirst for the blood, like an addiction.
Weaknesses (If your character has any specific weakness, such as a vampire's weakness to sunlight (among other things) or a Faerie's weakness to iron, list them here): A human, and suffers from a thirst for dragons blood.
Supporting Characters (Does your character have a significant other? A mother? A Friend? Who are they, what do they have to do with your character?): None.
Describe using proper English grammar what you think you can bring to the RPG: A character who is edgy and a social misfit, making interaction very interesting. He is quite a unique character, and over the last year I like to think Ive gained a reputation as a good RPer and can make a go of this one. I have an extensive knowledge of fantasy worlds etc, used to play D&D and play Magic quite pretty much daily, not to mention many other board games and Games Workshop based games etc.
How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: Often enough to not get withdrawn from the RPG
J .
Do you know how to post pictures on the hype boards: Sure.
Sample Post (Minimum Four decent-sized paragraphs containing dialogue):
The beast careered through the sky, swooping down and letting loose a torrent of fire that scorched the earth. Once the flames cleared, amongst the blackened ground stood Kamahl.
A thunder of shaking soil erupted as the scaled monster landed. Towering above this man, massive immense, the reptilian creatures image alone struck terror into the heart of many, yet somehow the monster failed to have the upper hand.
Gargantuan claw struck, missing the warrior by mere inches as he leapt to one side, tearing through the scales as if it was warm butter. The glimmering blade trickling with freshly spilled blood as an arm poured forth gallons of vital fluid.
Rolling away from a second attack, the softer underbelly now in front of Sky-cutter, providing little resistance to an upwards lunge, releasing a river of liquid spewing forth from the wound. A roar of pain sent fire licking upwards to the clouds as agony surged through the dragon.
Writhing around, the colossus felt life slipping away. Kamahl stood and watched every last ounce of strength disappear from it until it was a lifeless object, steeped amongst the soaked earth. Clouds breaking and shedding rain across the now still battlefield.
And so the sky itself weeps for the loss of its kin.
