What a disappointment. It starts great with some ballsy decisions during it's first act, but it goes downhill from there.

It ends up as just another worn-out, cliche story about the hero who tries to reunite with his family in the face of disaster...

And Bryan Cranston's role is too small :/

For better or worse, I want to come out of the theater saying "I just saw the 29th Godzilla movie" because the 98 movie should not even count. That's a reasonable expectation, right?
