Checked out the Wondercon footage, awesome. It really feels like one of the old Godzilla movies, just with updated effects, obviously. The shots of Godzilla coming in to shore had the awe-inspiring vibe from one of the old '90s movies, and seeing Godzilla and the MUTO fighting as puny humans cower in terror or fire ineffectual weapons really brought across the feel like we're just ants watching the clash of the titans.

Some have said the MUTO looks too delicate to be a worthy foe for Godzilla, but I thought it was more intimidating seen in its full glory.

Godzilla himself looks awesome.

I had worried this might be a little too Cloverfield and not give us enough nice full shots of the monsters, but Godzilla and the MUTO were both shown full and clear here.

The music that played when Godzilla approached the carrier, holy hell! Amazing, and the way the Mjtos reacted to Godzilla, fuxking excellent.

The footage was amazing! the music when he is coming a shore was epic and the last shot of Godzilla, that angry pissed off look before the roar, just made me more hype.

Yup. That was my reaction. I don't know how I can wait for this movie now. Just seeing the monster in motion, it's amazing. Godzilla's reaction to the Muto was perfect. And everything else was just great. Amazing cinematography. It's like Cloverfield without the shaky cam.
